Well, I know some people who've done the online version or joined for a short while to get the materials and then quit and that seems to work for them, but I think it's worth it to go to the meetings each week. I find that when I know I have a weigh-in and meeting to go to, it keeps me on track for the most part. And there are a few people on weight watchers at my meeting that have maintained the new weight for long periods of time-and i think it's because you don't have to give up foods, you just learn how to work them into your daily diet. Like if I want ice cream, I just learn to alot the 10 points necessary for me to have my McFlurry.

I think it's really a personal thing. Because the first time I did weight watchers, I left and tried to go it solo for awhile and started to gail weight back, but once I went back to the meetings, I was fine. ANd once you get to your goal weight and maintain it for a certain period of time, you have earned free membership to weight watchers for life.

If you have more questions, you have my email I think.
