I'm having a lame friday night...
It's the weekend! Thank frakking god. Today at work was horrific and it's only going to get worse for awhile. Le sigh.
But I won't focus on that. No, instead, I'm going to squee about Supernatural and Sam & Dean.
Episode 3.10
Oh, drunk emo Sammy! He's not sure what the hell he's going to do without Dean and as much as he wants to become like Dean (or what he thinks is Dean), he's still Sammy and trying to deal with his emotions, even if he has to be drunk to do it.
Dean is Bobby's emergency contact. I really do love Bobby. And I love his relationship with Sam and Dean, but specifically Dean. I think in ways he's the father that Dean wanted (though he loves John) and the father that John wanted to be (because I'm a John Winchester girl and I know he loved his kids). And Dean saying that to Bobby to help him get his head clear was great.
Sam and his wet dream over Bela. Heh. Amusing.
And oh, boys, of course she wanted the Colt. But we'll forgive you because you were worried about Bobby and then forced to stay up for days.
I'm trying to make sense of Dean's chat with demon!Dean because I can see that he was baited and he's still angry about a lot of things, but I really think Dean loved his dad a whole lot. And I think that's part of why he's so damn angry. And I think all his issues still make it so hard for him to accept (not know) that his father loved him enough to willingly give up his quest to save his son's life. That said, it's still hard to hear Dean say all this stuff about John, even if it is really just to himself. And while it was drilled into him a lot, I, personally, still think Dean would be the overprotective big brother that he is to Sammy. It's so innate to him and I can't imagine (or want) him any other way.
Sam was able to take a hold of the dream to save Dean. And I can't help but wonder if this is foretelling of how he'll use his abilities to save his brother.
And now Dean wants to be saved and has admitted it. Gah.
Seriously, boys, can you just hug? You both want it. I *know* it.
I can't say I'm surprised by Bobby's wife being how he got into hunting or that it was a possession since Bobby is the go-to guy for demons.
Overall - good stuff. I love Sam and Dean so much. And I adore how much they love each other.
Based on the preview, next week is going to be hard. Oh Sammy.

Now I shall catch up on friends list and maybe do some reading. I miss having time for fanfiction. Stupid work exhausting me - it's like they don't appreciate the need for hot boy porn.
