The Hiatus Countdown Supernatural Friending Spree
In honor of the countdown underway until we get more episodes of Supernatural (which means more Sam and Dean!!!), I’ve decided to host a Supernatural Friending Meme.
So come chat with others, make new friends, talk about all the wonderful things that you love about Supernatural and look forward to. Random, wild hypotheses are more than welcome, but please no spoilers.
Please no flaming or wank! This is fun, like sunshine, rainbows and hot boys making out.
Also please PIMP like mad. The more people participating, the more fun it will be. So grab your friends and have them play! Pimp, pimp, pimp!!!
And finally, don’t forget to check out the fun activities underway at

*hearts Doctor Who* I'm trying to get riled up and into Torchwood, but it just doesn't seem to be working. Might be that I only have so much fandom space in my heart at once, and Supernatural still hasn't loosened its hold. Might be that I just don't love enough of the characters. S2 has been doing lovely things as I've seen so far, though. The ridiculous number of episodes saved to my harddrive and not yet watched, I have so much hope for them. *vigorous nod*
*scampers off to cease pestering you*

That makes a whole lot of sense, actually. Problem for me, I think, is it doesn't always make my blood boil in a good way. I have this huge, not quite rational hate-on for Owen. He's a very human, arguably malicious character -- marvelously done -- but the fact that everyone seems to think he's such hot shit is one of the things that makes it hard for me to get into the show.
Liked Gwen to start with, but she keeps losing points. I just... they keep making her do things that make it difficult for me to accept her as the "goodness and light of humanity" part of the ensemble that they want her to be. She's crossed lines, y'know? Which again, totally human, totally well done -- but makes it difficult for me to get attached. I love Toshiko, though. More of her and less with the whole being-in-love-with-Owen problem (I haven't yet watched most of S2 yet, admittedly) and I think I could really adore this show.
Whew. [/ramble]
I FRIEND YOU BACK NOW! *claps happily*
