grrr...argh...

So many people have already written on the whole wank regarding a certain fanfiction writer looking for hand-outs to continue her writing. I'm just...floored. Like wow. Can I be a kept fanperson? Will someone out there pay me lots of money because work is just so workish? And while we're at it, are there a few of you on my fanlist that I can hire (at no charge to me, of course, because it's like an honor) to wave huge feathers over me while I eat grapes and watch my TIVO? Oh, and maybe if you can refer to me as "the greatest fanfic writer ever" at all times...

Also, I don't know if she's actually interacted with any professional writers before, but most of the writers I know have other jobs as well for a very long time. The chances of being a JK Rowling are quite slim, especially on the first time out...so what's the plan then? "Sorry, Mr. Publisher, sir, but I can't be expected to write and do other stuff."

And bullshit about disabilities? Girl, please, I know people with real disabilities who work full-time jobs, going to school, and doing writing. Unless stupid is a disability, I don't think it qualifies.

The gall and...I'm just making myself angry thinking about it.

But for real y'all...if you want me to be your kept fanperson...just ply me with slushies and soft pretzels and I'm yours!

Have I mentioned the utter love I have for Entourage? What about 4400? Still haven't watched QAF because it will sadden me that it's really over. I'm not good with that sort of thing - sure, it's fictional, but I'm mental.

*rolls eyes*

Paid fanfic? I so don't think so. *sigh* Of course, there's my dream of one day getting a job to write either comics or novels based on different franchises---but hey, I was gonna be all legal about it so it could be cannon/semi-cannon at least. Of course, to do so, I've gotta create characters of my own to maniputlate first.

Talk about putting the milk before the cow.

The wank is most entertaining, though.

*hands you shiny sash and crown for being ultimate fan type person*

::dances about in sash and crown:: It's n ice to be recognized for how totally awesome I am and stuff! Heh-heh.

And yeah, doing novelizations and books like they do with Star Wars, etc. those are all legal and the creator gets a percentage of the money (sometimes even has some say in what is/isn't allowed)...but this girl. Just the audacity of it all and then saying God led her to this answer - can I blame God for all the crummy things I do?
