Happy Supernatural Day, my friends!

Does anyone know if the rumors I've heard are true? Is SPN airing at 8pm because of the debate? That would be awesome because otherwise I won't get to see it until tomorrow. I figure I'm safe because I dvr Smallville (one of those things I often say, "I wish I knew how to quit you" about), but I'd love to watch it. This will come as a surprise, but I'm a tad bit obsessed with the Winchester boys.

Not more than politics though. And I want Joe Biden to call Sarah Palin out on every lie and half truth and idiotic comment she has made. She is just...I'm not Republican, but surely there was an actual qualified woman who could have been McCain's running mate. Palin is just an insult to women and either a liar or crazy to boot. So yes, Joe, crush her!

I can't believe it's already almost time for Yuletide and holiday exchanges. Where has the year gone?

Also, since only a small number were interested in the Sports Night Holiday Exchange, I've decided to combine forces with larah33. Sports Night will become a part of the oldschoolfic holiday exchange. that way Sports Night can still play and people can get that fic...but I'm not running a whole exchange for seven people (though I would if people really want it. I'm a sucker like that.).

You have nailed exactly what has made me the most angry about this whole Palin thing - we get That? And by That, I mean every silly caricature of a professional woman in the world. It's been a month and I'm still fuming.

So, I too want Joe to crush her. But, the expectation is so low that, if she succeeds in not falling off the stage, the Repubs will claim victory!

Seriously, I think it's sad when conservative pundits who stuck by Bush are saying this woman is unqualified. That says something.

And I just find it so insulting that McCain's campaign thinks, "She has girl parts just like all other woman! They'll vote for!"

And speaking as someone who *is* Republican - yeah, this is ridiculously embarrassing. Not only is she a "Neo-Con Pin-up Girl", she's a sop to the evangelical right, when McCain's entire nomination was about breaking the hold those ya-hoos have had on our party for the past several decades!

ARGH!

Republican Party: we're supposed to be about *smaller* government and *less* intrusion into people's personal lives. I don't know wtf these idiots think they're doing, and I can't walk away until they give up or see reason!

LOL, that is the perfect description for it. I'm totally in the same boat. Actually, I think I only watch because I want to see Clark/Lois finally happen. Plus its got Ollie now again. ♥

Unfortunately I'll be of no help to you in the SPN department. I have to download it every week, so I have no idea what goes on with its airing schedule in general, let alone in circumstances like this. I have heard that it might be airing differently in some places than others due to whatever CW affiliate you have...? Not sure. You'll probably have to check your own TV guide.
