The finale left me sort of confused and depressed, and I think it was imagining just this kind of scenario that did it. I'm with the boys here: I don't see any reason for abandoning the kids. As for your story, it's well-written as always, and I enjoyed your characterization of Chris and Wyatt. I agree with your comment above, that Wyatt will always be on the edge, which is why I didn't care much for goody-two-shoes Wyatt of "Imaginary Fiends -- I like to see traces of "Chris-Crossed" Wyatt in the changed future, and you did that well here.
