Has anyone been able to figure out why Tuesdays at work go so damn slow? I just can't understand it.
And, of course, I'm still recovering from last night's 24. I tivo'd Alias and will watch that at some point this week, but gah, how I love Keifer Sutherland. It's funny. You'd think as a bleeding heart liberal, I wouldn't care very much for Jack Bauer, a man who makes Rumsfeld's "it's not really torture" actions seem tame. But I do. I love Jack Bauer.
And all the way until the end this season did not disappoint. If you weren't watching, I suggest renting it when the season comes out on dvd. It was really good.
Also rewatched Charmed finale. So are we all of the opinion that Chris remembers his original timeline or that he doesn't? I've seen arguments for both and I want to know - for fic writing purposes, of course.
Speaking of fic writing, I have this really depressing idea for a Supernatural piece, but I'm not sure if I want to do it. On the one hand, it might become one of those stories that has to be written for my brain to continue to function. But on the other hand, while I love the angst fic and the angst on the show, sometimes it pains me for things to happen to my boys. I want them to have some happy moments in the midst of all the fighting evil and familial angst. Maybe that's why I love the crossovers. It's a chance to get them away from all that without damaging their characters.
I don't know. It might be one of those stories that gets written and only I see it.
Then again, if I wrote a paragraph of Sam and Dean as the Bee Gees fic, who knows what I am capable of? But I commented to
kashmir1 that if truly is a crack!fic, it should be one entitled something like "Sam and Dean and the Adventures with the Pop Music Demon" - Sam and Dean find themselves becoming members of such illustrious groups as Bee Gees, New Kids on the Block and Nsync. hee.
I'm really a bit nutty sometimes.

A few memes:
--Interview questions from
magickly that I never answered:
1. What band's music do you like, but only grudgingly because you don't want to like them? I can't really think of any because I tend to just embrace the music I love and hate the ones I don't. I guess there are songs by people that do shame me though like my current obsession with Nick Lachey's song "What's Left of Me"
2. Who's your favorite published writer, and how come? Just one favorite? That's like impossible for a bibliophile. I do love Michael Chabon something awful because it stories are so well written and he creates this characters that I love and puts them in this sometimes mundane situations but handles it with humor and originality.
3. What one item do you tend to splurge on when shopping? purses. I love purses, especially Coach purses.
4. Army of evil chipmunks?! Yes, always stay on my good side. When I yell attack, they line up in formation and torture by singing Britney Spears' songs.
5. Are you sad Charmed is over (I think anyway) after its 8th season? Not sad. I loved it for a long time and it gave me Chris and Wyatt for a little while, but it was starting to go downhill the past few seasons. It was time for it to go off and the finale was a perfect send-off to the show.
--Name a character from one of my fandoms, and I will tell you my top 3 moments or scenes (or at least 3 of my favorites) of them.
