The way he proposed was a bit creepy, but it's Oliver Wood and he's hot. And what this quiz doesn't tell you is that Percy showed up at the wedding and declared his love for Oliver, but Oliver swore he was just experimenting while he was in high school...and again, he's hot so I was okay with it.

Still writing the same never-ending chapter from hell of TIMH. It’s going to be a long chapter…well a long chapter for me. I’m not one of those writers whose chapters are sixty pages long so getting close to twenty pages is a bit worrisome. But I think it’s all necessary to the chapter. It’s just one of those “everything happens in this chapter…bam, bam, bam” types. F-U-N.

Again…with…my…freaking…ellipses…addiction.

Also trying to finish up my ficathon pieces. I’ve been debating whether to sign up for musesfool Remus Redux Challenge. I’ve never written Remus before, but it sounds interesting and the minimum word count is 500 words, so that’s not too bad. But I’m already involved in three ficathons, plus my own challenge—so it might not be my wisest decision.

Oh, what to do, what to do?

I love to procrastinate...

So I’m a day behind, but I decided to do this anyway. plum_evil presented this challenge to her friend’s list: collect links to 5-10 things you want to pimp in your LJ. They can be places, books, overlooked fic, movies, albums, people, recipes, television shows, designers, artists, authors, items of historical interest, etc.

So here we go:

1) The Arcadia Library - It’s a fanfiction archive of stories from Joan of arcadia. I definitely recommend checking out some of the stories…and if you write JoA, you should post your stuff there. It’s got the potential to be a great comprehensive archive.

2) Big Rocky Candy Mountain – An Andrew Story - This is possibly one of the best fanfictions I’ve ever read, let alone in the Buffy fandom. I love it. It’s great and the author really has a knack for getting inside Andrew’s head.

3) View Askew - Kevin Smith’s site and home of all things Jay and Silent Bob. I love it something terrible, and not just because Kevin Smith is my Jersey mentor and I hope to follow in his obscene footsteps.

4) Pamie.Com - Pamie is one of my favorite blogs to read. She’s funny, smart, and trying to make it as novelist/screenwriter in Hollywood. Her book was a great, fun read and her journal is just as appealing.

5) Wil Wheaton’s Website – Okay, I’m a big nerd. I admit it freely…and part of that nerdiness has always involved a weak spot for Wil Wheaton. I love him…and then a long time back, I discovered his website and found out that he was funny and smart and my nerdy heart leapt up into my throat and I’ve been stuck here every since.

6) My Hidden Talent - A place for writers with original work to get some feedback on their pieces. It’s a great place to get ideas for what’s getting published/opted and such.

7) Righteous Babe Records - Home of Ani Difranco’s label and all of her greatness. She is my favorite musician and I feel that should be shared.

8) Nsync Fanfiction Archive - One main place for all the good Nsync fanfiction out there. Yes, I admit it. I’m a pop girl and I’ve written more than one Nsync story in my time (which, if you’re interested, you may stumble upon there). A lot of the authors I read and admire have posted their works there.

9) The White Room - I’ll end with a little self-promotion of my website, which features all my fanfiction from all the different fandoms.

The Proposal - a OTH short

So my dear friend, Carly, asked me to write the following prompt back in May:

Haley and Nathan. The scene they DIDN'T show, where he asks her to marry him. (In between the raining/shirt taking off/making out on bed scene and the "but will this change things?" scene.)

Sure, it's about a month after the fact, but I have finally gotten around to her ficlet request. And here is the results. It's schmoopy and insane, but alas that is what makes One Tree Hill so damn wonderful.
