another day, another dollar and more work to do

After thinking about my favorite Dan and Casey moments from Sports Night per scrunchy for ship_manifesto, I ended up pulling out my SN dvds once again – I don’t know why I bother because at least once a month I bring them back into my room and constantly watch.

I miss this show so much. I love the style of it, the writing, the characters and I’ve been trying to think of a show that might compare. I don’t know of any off the top of my head. It was just so…guh.

Now I’m going to find some wonderful Dan/Casey banter fics.

Tomorrow I get my Arrested Development DVDs! Woo-hoo! I can’t wait! I love the Bluth family and all their insanity. It’s hysterical. Everyone should be watching this show if you’re not already.

And next week The O.C. season one comes out on DVD. I’m thinking I might end up waiting a little bit before I purchase them because I’m terribly poor and I can force myself to hold out for my Seth loving a bit longer. Besides, only two weeks and one day until the premiere!

Speaking of The O.C. - I have not forgotten you, sdlucly! I just haven’t had a chance to do anything, let alone beta! It will get done! I swear! I promise! (And totally feel free to write the rest of my birthday story once your exams are done. Heh-heh.)

I’ve got to get these two back-up stories done, but they don’t want to come out. I got part of the first one done, but now my main character is being stubborn and indignant and refusing to let me finish – I bet he’s jealous of my plans to pay attention to Charlie from Lost for awhile.

There’s the Charmed story that will never die, Power of Two, that requires an update!

And the requests for updates to Trouble In My Head have begun again – oh lordy! Someone want to write it for me? Someone other than Steph iamtheenemy who would kill off Frankie and ruin everything! Anyone?
