Feel free to scurry away at any point today. Honestly. I'm not in the mood for this. My in-bin at work is probably piling up as we speak and do I need to mention Nano?

Why must you do this to me? Wasn't it bad enough that you contaminated the rest of my office? No, you had to come my way.

I've given up making "plans" to write on my weekends because it simply doesn't work out and then I get rather annoyed with myself. It seems I cannot stop my friends and family from making plans for me and, depsite the amount of green tea I ingested, I was unable to keep sickness at bay.

I did get to see the new Bridget Jones's Diary movie on Saturday. I loved it. Loved it more than the first one. And it's not just because I have an undying love for Colin Firth (my Sirius Black and always will be, dammit!) and Colin Firth and Hugh Grant fighting. I think it's partially because I relate to Bridget. I'm always speaking without thinking and oh the calamity I end up involved in.

So I definitely recommend it. It's a feel good movie.

Also dragged out with the mother and friends and that ended up sucking up the majority of my time until I collapsed from illness.

And that's where I am now. I'm feeling a little bit better this morning, so I might attempt to eat some soup and then try to write.

Because otherwise I'm about to give up on Nano. I'm so far behind at this point that I'm thinking of maybe just making my own goal of writing every day for the remainder of November on something. God knows I have enough writing to complete. But, alas, I do love my lead character and the story that I want to tell...I'm just not sure it's possible anymore. Because my weekends have been booked up by friends who decide things like, "I'm moving to China!" or "I'm going to come visit you from LA over Thanksgiving!"
