writing is the devil!
Dec. 18th, 2004 06:41 pmoh writing muse, you fickle fiend! Where have you gone? I've done about as much procrastinating as I can today - I went to Target to get the last of my materials for the holidays (why does wrapping paper cost more than a dollar? It's a crime!), I watched collateral, I took a nap...now I really need to finish my story.
But I can't seem to write anything decent. I keep deleting because it's terrible. I don't want this to be terrible.
Dammit.

Last weekend before Christmas and I'm so far from being ready. Though after Wednesday of this week, I'm on vacation and that I can't wait for. I need a vacation. I need to get away from work for awhile - I feel like I live there sometimes. That's not that healthy, especially since I'm not terribly in love with my job.

Collateral was surprisingly good. Did not expect that as Tom Cruise tends to frighten me to my core - that's right. I can't forgive him for Magnolia. It was too upsetting. I enjoyed the movie. I enjoyed Javier Bardem, my Spanish hottie, the most. Gah. I love him. And he looked good - unlike Mar Adentro, where he doesn't look so good (but is fabulous and wonderful) - as did Mark Ruffalo.
And now I will pop in some Farscape, maybe cook some frozen pizza, and attempt to finish this story. I must to do it.
Ciao.
