randomness in the form of an entry
Sep. 25th, 2005 05:25 pmFirst, thank you for all the get well wishes! I appreciate it! Let it never be said that I don't come up with new ways to find amusement in life, including bodily injury. On the brightside, this could all one day be fodder for some poor character.
Anyway, not much else to report. I watch too much television - both in syndication and new. I have an illness, but really, can I be blamed when Court TV starts showing Fastlane every Saturday. It has pretty boys and pretty cars and the lead guy often goes shirtless for no real reason. It's the girl's Baywatch, man.

Ever been bored to the point that absolutely nothing interests you. I could watch some stuff on my Tivo still kicking it there, read some of the many books I've recently purchased/borrowed from the library, or just write/read fanfic...the problem is that *none* of it appeals to me at the moment. I could lie and say it's all because I'm recovering from my ER trip, but it's just a sad kind of lazy, I think.
And I really should be writing. I have a story due next Saturday that I haven't started, and I somehow ended up with a femmeslash request. And it's not that I'm against femmeslash, it's just totally not my thing and I've never written it and ohgodwhatifImessitup? Eep!

Am reading the most fabulous book called The Adventures of a Notorious Youth - Capt. Hook. this goes beyond my love of villains. I swear. It's good stuff. Yes, it's *technicallY* a children's book, but read it. Wonderful man. I'll do a better review when I'm done it.

Charmed premieres tonight and I'm interested to see how they write themselves out of the finale hole they created. And have I mentioned that I don't want a new girl spin-off? I want a Chris/Wyatt spin-off, dammit. Pretty boys.
Of course, as
dragonsinger and I have discussed in comments, that's probably part of the appeal of Supernatural because it's brothers fighting side-by-side with angst potential out the wazoo.
And it's all about the angst. Really.

I did do something today, aside from watching a really bizarre religious Hebrew movie in film class this morning. I updated my story recs page and had some fun over at the Smallville sociable Weekend, which is part of glee week leading up to the premiere.
I live a sad life sometimes.
Though tomorrow when I go to work I'll be longing for this sort of boredom. That's just the way it is.
Ciao.
