a few things...
Feb. 3rd, 2006 04:10 pm1) The move is completely over. I cleaned up the last of things and handed in the keys (by that point, I'm surprised I didn't fling them at the leasing office doors). It's freaking done! Now, I have at least a few weeks before my friend sells the house and we have to move again. Why am I doing this again?
2) While I enjoy seeing Jensen Ackles shirtless, my first response when the sex scene started was "ew het." My sister spent the remainder of the show mocking my comment.
3) Have not written anything in over two weeks. This is very sad and must be remedied. Have much Jensen/Jared thoughts in my brain taking me to the dirty, wrong fabulous place.
4) Speaking of Jensen/Jared, it's like the fandom took off over the past couple of weeks. This makes me very happy and hopefully this weekend I'll have a chance to read all the stories out there (as I'm way behind on my fic reading).
5) How much does 24 rock? Every season I go in thinking, "Self, this show can't possibly get any better." Every season, it still manages to knock me on my ass with the greatness.
6) I’ve been battling the plague. The doctor calls it a “sinus infection”, but I’m thinking it’s more bubonic than that. So not only was I moving, but insanely ill. When it rains, it pours. God really does like to test me. Therefore, there is a chance that I missed some things on my friends list as I went about reading it mid-delirium. If there is something you think that I should know or just want me to read, comment with the link.
7) I love the people I work with and Lord knows that my job isn't too demanding, but I'm still perusing job listings over at monster.com. It's the whole "no money in non-profit" thing. At some point will have to decide which is more important - happy atmosphere or money to survive on. Hopefully, in the future, both of these will be covered when I finally finish grad school in twenty years.
8) I rented the Fog. Will watch it this evening. Expect major suckage, but who cares when Tom Welling is in it? And Maggie Grace…it’s like two of the prettiest people in the world on my screen. I'm a very shallow girl.

remixredux. It's still taking sign-ups until 11:59pm EST tonight! so go sign-up. It’s a whole lot of fun. Someone takes one of your stories and rewrites it from a different POV, different setting, etc. I always have a lot of fun participating and it produces LOTS of great reads.
10) I wanted to make this 10 even so uh...Welcome new friends! I hope you enjoy the stay. Don't base things on the past couple of weeks. My life has been crazy. Soon I will be fully immersed back in the world of fandom and hopefully posting stories again.
