week is almost over...

Wow, I haven't had a chance to comment quite yet, but you guys seem to like the apocalypse story. It's funny because Steph says that moving must've juiced up my creative muscle, and yet, the whole time I was without Internet, writing this story in my notebook, I thought for sure that it was terrible.

It's a weird process for me...the draft in the notebook to the draft on the computer to the completely edited version. Somewhere along the way it went from scary scrap to readable story.

And I think that's why I keep writing.

I'm slowly but surely getting back into fandom and livejournal and all that fun stuff. I've missed you all like a true addict does.

But gah, I *love* my new house. It's amazing and wonderful and has AIR CONDITIONING. It's big enough, but not too big. And the neighbors are cool and I'm now about seven minutes away from work.

Oh house, I love you.

I never want to move again.

Though one of the movers did look like Sayid from Lost. Terry told me to keep packing and stop flirting, but he was just so...Sayid-looking. How's a girl to resist?
