Happy Supernatural Day! Tonight's episode, based on what I saw in the preview, looks to be awesome stuff.

Nanowrimo is less than a week away and I'm already doubting my abilities to properly do this. Mostly because I signed up for all these holiday challenges, like I usually do, and those will need to get written at some point. I guess that's what December is for, and honestly, I know that I'll procrastinate anyway because it's what I do.

I think I'm going to do the Dean Winchester meets everybody in the world crossover idea that I had. Because I just like the idea of Dean wandering through the world making his own friends and connections. Now I just have to decide if I will set it completely during the four years while Sam was at Stanford, or sort of mix it up, like have Dean revisiting people and telling Sam the stories of how he met so-and-so the first time. Because I really do love the Sam & Dean relationship and 50,000 words of no real Sam interaction with Dean seems wrong.

Maybe this is why some people outline. Alas, it never works for me. I can have a basic idea of what I'm doing, but beyond that, outlines simply screw me up.

Have not watched this week's Veronica Mars yet because there was a book fair for my old Catholic School that the mother always makes me go to. And I can't really complain because she always buys me books, so yeah, hopefully will watch VM tonight before Smallville and Supernatural.

I did watch Gilmore Girls though...

polyfandomrecs - where iamtheenemy and I post all our multifandom recs. Heavy on Supernatural (from me) and Stargate Atlantis (from Steph), but many other fandom recs as well. I do love the obscure fic.

moviefanfiction - Post/read/rec fanfiction that's based on movies. I really do want it to become an archive of sorts to make searching for that sort of thing easier.

thefandomnine - Pick nine fandom characters (from as many different fandoms as you want), throw them into life-or-death situation, and have them bond in the aftermath.

I'm also trying to get quillandink back going, but I might need help. I was doing the once-a-week writing prompts and list of ongoing challenges all by myself...and I was running out of prompt ideas. But I'm going to try to get that going again after Nanowrimo.
