is it nine pm yet?
Nov. 2nd, 2006 04:06 pmHappy Supernatural Day, my friends! Here's to hoping that my stupid DVR actually works this week and that I get to watch the episode. Here's to also hoping that it doesn't mess up recording The O.C. either. Yes, that's right. I still watch The O.C., mostly because my love for Seth Cohen, despite the writers' best attempts, never waivers. And apparently, there are good things being said about this season. And that gives me hope.
But not enough hope that I would choose it over Supernatural. My co-workers seem shocked by that, but then they don't really understand the allure of Sam and Dean Winchester. It's very sad for them, having a healthy relationship with television.

lordessrenegade wrote me Dan/Casey rubber ducky fic for the
bubbleficathon! I haven't read it yet because I feel all sorts of guilty about having not finished my story yet - again, blaming CANON on that one, hee - but now I am even more motivated to finish. And yes, I haven't forgotten those prompt-pieces either. Sorry for the huge, ginormous delay, my friends, but fic is coming. Really. (Oddly enough, working on Nano at my lunch breaks is working out very well thus far.)

If you haven't checked it out yet, there is a Friday Night Lights Friending Meme taking place. I seriously did not expect to love this show as much as I do, or to get so attached to characters that were football players. It's just not my normal thing...but oh Lordy. I love it and I think that each episode gets better as we learn even more about the characters. Like the pilot was good, but this past week's episode was magnificent.
Also, come on Supernatural friends, SGA is making us look bad over at sign-ups for Under the Mistletoe and there are some really great prompts to choose from. We can do it! Don't we want twenty-five days of Supernatural Fic just like SGA and Smallville? We have until tomorrow morning to get more SPN writers to sign up. ::nudges her friends list::
Then there is
yuletide, if you're actually not signed up yet. But I definitely suggest, whether you've participated before or not, that you read tthis post on yuletide etiquette. Seriously, be sure to read this because it's one of my huge pet peeves on ANY challenge, but especially with yuletide.

I promised other pimpage and that will come later when my head is on straight. Right now I'm sorta out of it, trying to finish up an article for work based on an interview, and just...fun times.
Here's to hoping we get lots of Sam and Dean touching and angsting. And really, feel free to tell us that secret any time now, Kripke.
Ciao darlings!
