It's Tuesday and it's snowing. Fun times.
So I was wrong last night. I ended up watching The Class and Heroes.
Dude, the Class was funny last night. I've always been a Kat/Ethan girl, but I'm really loving the addition of Kyle to them. The three of them together are so much fun.
And right to Heroes...
Episode 1.15 - Run!
I've never denied how much I love Nathan, and that while he can be a real ass, when it comes to certain people, it really does come from how much he cares for them. And I swear, his mother is so right about him. Underneath his exterior, he *is* a sap, at least for certain people - like his family, and that now includes his daughter. And I think had Peter been there, he would've reacted differently, but without Peter there to balance out his mother/his own political motivations, he tends to do the crappy thing.
Mr. Bennett scares me more now. He knows what doing all this stuff has done to his wife and yet he continues with it...and her brain can't handle it. And I honestly can't decide if he would keep doing it to his son and Claire in his own screwed up way to "protect her." It's insane.
But I think Claire's mother is worse. First, using her daughter to blackmail Nathan and then trying to scam Claire as well and take off...I don't know. And maybe she is trying to keep Claire from getting hurt, but it just seems weird to me.
I loved that Nathan wanted to see her, wanted Claire to want to meet him, but at the same time, didn't want to look at the picture. And then the scene with him in the car...Claire throwing the rock and Nathan's expression. It killed me.
It will be interesting when Claire & Nathan & Peter are all together. I can't wait for that.
At least, Claire still has Zach. Thank god.
The Hiro/Ando stuff was okay. I love Hiro so much so there isn't much I don't enjoy about him! And I do love that Ando threw Hiro's words back in his face, no matter how misplaced his urge to help was. But dude, Hiro needs to learn a better poker face. He should've just been like, "Ando's getting the purse. I better go make sure he didn't run into anymore problems." Rather than calling her out and getting locked in a closet.
Because now Hiro & Ando are split up. It makes me sad.
The Nikki/Jessica stuff doesn't matter to me. I did love Micah's line "Shouldn't we be fighting crime?" in regards to their powers, but otherwise so stupid. And they're still wasting Matt.
Dear Matt,
Obviously Linderman was willing to kill to get his money back. Why would you then steal the fucking diamonds? Are you insane? I understand not helping the asshole cops, but just leave it where you found it.
Worried about you,
Tommygirl
Next week's should be better as we get Peter & Claude again. And I really need some Peter & Nathan scenes again soon. I love them so.

And now, I took part in the Interview Meme that was going around.
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better. If I already know you well, expect the questions may be a little more intimate!
3. You will update your lj with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
From
bantha_fodder:
1. What is the most awesome crossover you can think of?
Oh Jeez. I love the idea of pretty much all crossovers, but I think it would be pretty damn cool if someone found a way to cross Firefly, Farscape, BSG, and Roswell into one great story. Hell, I’d offer to beta!
2. What is your favourite book? The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton will always be my favorite book.
3. Michael and Maria are on a road trip. And then...? They get lost on their way to one of the national parks, fighting ensues where Maria might utter the words “Typical Michael” and when they finally get to the park, it’s closed, but Michael manages to sneak them in. There should be lots of kissing and banter.
4. What is your favourite show of all time? Buffy. I will always love Buffy more than words can say, even season six.
5. Most played song in your iTunes (or equivalent)? Red Light by Jonny Lang. According to ITunes, I’ve played it about 1800 times since I first got ITunes. I may have an obsession.
From
lithium_doll:
1. Which is your favourite Crow movie, not counting the first one. That’s evil! I guess it goes without saying that the first one is the best thing ever, but I actually did enjoy the second one. And the television show was pretty damn good too.
2. If you could have written any book published, which would it be? I’d love to say that I wrote The Outsiders…or maybe I’d take credit for Great Gatsby just so I could destroy all high school english teachers by stating that the color green was all just by accident.
3. Who is your favourite muppet? Kermit with the old guys a close second.
4. Given eggs, bread, potatoes and milk, what would you make? Scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and toast
5. What's your favourite era of clothing? I love the 20’s with the flapper dresses.
From
angelsgracie:
1. What is your happiest memory from your childhood? Probably my seventh birthday. We spent the summers at our shorehouse in Wildwood, and as a summer baby, I got to have my birthdays there. That year, my dad took me and my shore friends (about 10 of us) to the water slides and then we came back and there was a big family/friends party for me with a cake decorated with Strawberry Shortcake (the character) that my mom made me. It was perfect.
2. Who was the most significant person in your life during your adolescence? My dad. I choose him mostly because there are two eras of my life: before he died and after he died.
3. Have you ever felt a 'connection' to a vehicle you owned? Did you name it?
I always name my cars. My first car was the Toyota Tercel Hatchback. His name was John, which came about from Emma where she’s talking and says, “I love John. No, I hate John.” That was always how I felt about that car. My second car was my Uncle Al’s old cadillac boat and he was named Alfie. That car taught me how to park so well. And now my Honda Element’s name is Kay. Because my Aunt Kay left me a nice inheritance when she passed away and I used that toward my car…so I named my car after her.
4. What one book has most profoundly influenced who you are and what you wanted to do with your life? Harriet The Spy - I read that book when I was little and started carrying a notebook around with me everywhere I went. It’s when I decided that I would become a writer.
5. If you could switch places with any celebrity, who would it be and why? Jennifer Garner. She’s married to Ben Affleck, has a good career of her own, and seems pretty down to earth.
From
dragonsinger:
1) If you created the perfect TV show, what would it consist of? Dude, honestly, Supernatural is pretty close to what I would consider my perfect tv show. It’s like Kripke got a hold of my journal. It has the close sibling/family dynamic where they would die for each other. It brings the angst, but there are banter and light moments…and there are HOT BOYS.
2) Tell me about your first fandom experience. My first fandom was the Nsync fandom and I started there back when Het ruled the roost…oh, that fandom was insane, but I loved it.
3) Why do sibling relationships appeal to you so much? I think it’s specifically big brother oriented for the most part. I love little sister/big brother, little brother/big brother the most and I do think that comes out of they types of relationships I always wanted with my big brothers and never really got. I mean, I love good sister dynamics too, but that’s something I have of my own that’s very strong. I think the same applies to the father/daughter relationship…I have a huge love for those dynamics mostly because it was lacking in my life.
4) Who are your favorite types of characters to write and why? I love characters like Dean, who wears all these protective layers that as they slowly get chipped away there are all these things going on to play with. And I love a character that is completely flawed but still tries to do good things (like Joan from Joan of Arcadia or Crichton from Farscape), despite the fact that they don’t always WANT to do good things.
5) When you become a published author, what kind of novels would you like to be known for? My young adult novels.
