some television thoughts...

Next to Thursday Nights from 9pm-10pm, Monday night television on NBC is quickly becoming my favorite thing. Well, from 8pm-10pm anyhow. I'm still not all that impressed with Journeymen.
Episode 1.3
I love and adore Chuck.
I think I'm going to marry him. He would totally be okay with my occasional hook-ups with Dean Winchester when he came to town.
Morgan is growing on me. His fear of old computers is weird, but strangely amusing. I also love Morgan's reaction to Casey and Chuck's new involvement with Sarah.
Favorite Moment of the Episode: Chuck and Captain Awesome doing the tango.
Second Favorite Moment: Chuck explaining he learned the girl's part to the tango!
So Chuck was kicked out of Stanford because copies of tests were found under his bead by Bryce. Who put them there? Was it Bryce? If so, why? Or was it someone else and Bryce spent a good portion of time regretting the fact that he thought Chuck couldn't be trusted (and in his warped mind trusting Chuck with the computer was his apology?)
I don't really care because Chuck and Casey are awesome!
And Sarah kicks butt.
I loved Casey complimenting Chuck and taking out the guys with appliances. Mostly, I love Casey because it's totally Jayne from FF if he worked for the government in our day and age.
Finally, how cute is Chuck's relationship with his sister? I love that he adores his sister and that she cares so deeply about him.
I just LOVE this show. SO VERY MUCH.
And next was Heroes, which I enjoyed, but right now it's not as good as it was last year.
Episode 2.3 - Kindred
Things I Don't Like:
- Peter needs to open the freaking box. First off, he knows he could've taken the box back at any time without helping with the deal. Second, just open it. You need to remember Nathan. He loves you and you love him and I do not like this at all! You can stay hot and comfortable with your powers though.
- Speaking of Nathan, where the hell is he?
- West and West/Claire. He's an ass. He harps on her and follows her around and ridicules her in front of a class without knowing what she's been through and the second he flies her off, she is madly in love with him. Dear God. Kill me now. Claire is a strong female character. Can we not go this route with her?
- DL is dead? Was that necessary?
- No really, where is Nathan? He needs to be back full time on the show. Why must I endure things like West if I don't even get Nathan?
- I still don't care about Nikki.
Things I Liked/Loved:
- SYLAR! SYLAR! SYLAR!
- So Candace really was fat, which goes back to season one conversation she had with Micah...and obviously, either stupid or cocky, since she didn't realize that Sylar would want her gift and kill her for it. Didn't the company learn anything from the last time they had him in their grips? And was Candace still working for the Company because if so, Mohinder, they're not letting you take care of him like you want!
- Mohinder/Matt is my new favorite thing. Sure, when Sylar comes back, he'll want his boyfriend back, but I seriously love worried!Matt and spy!Mohinder and Molly.
- Why do Sylar's powers not work? Is it just his injury? Does he have the virus? Is he being drugged by the company?
- Peter using his powers is hot.
- Hiro's storyline and getting Kenzei to accept his role.
**
Still have a bunch of stuff on my dvr to watch at some point. I'm almost done Ken Burn's The War, in the middle of the last part, so hopefully that will free up some extra time. I still have this week's Brothers & Sisters and Dexter to watch.
Have started getting caught up on season three of Weeds too. This show cracks me up.
