new episodes are underway...

Last night was the two hour premiere of Heroes, and thank lordy my show is back and seems to have continued in the much better category of the last few episodes of season two (since most of season two was not that impressive to me).
Episodes 3.1 (The Second Coming) & 3.2 (The Butterfly Effect)
I'm not sure who would win in a "whose dumber contest?" - future!Peter or Mohinder. Seriously.
I'm not sure I get why future!Peter thought trying to kill his brother would fix things. There has to be more to it because I can't see killing Nathan as being something easy for Peter to undertake, when another option would be to go back a little earlier and talk to Nathan. By end of season two, Nathan wasn't the unreasonable version he was when the show started. I think he would've listened.
I do, however, like that future!Peter still needs his big brother and not only reveals himself to Nathan, but needs his forgiveness. It's so perfectly screwy and them.
But really, how does he not know that he's going to change things, probably for the worst, with a huge event like that. Time has to be manipulated carefully (like we saw in season one) with something small like, "Save the cheerleader."
Nathan working for God. Not sure where this is going. I figured Linderman was a figment of his imagination, but is it some sort of power (Maybe from their father - as in first season Peter had a conversation with the dead guy he took care of) or just Nathan going round the bend after everything that's happened?
I love Sylar. This is not news, but I love that, to him, he's not a monster, but a scientist. And that he doesn't really want to kill people, he just wants to understand and have their powers. And I think that's part of why he doesn't kill Claire. It serves no purpose in his mind.
Future Claire and Future Peter - are they going the route of Brothers & Sisters where the real life couple will now not be related on the show? Because it's still a bit creepy for me.
Why is Mohinder such a goddamn tool? I'm hoping
medie will re-write me a version of this into a much more M/M friendly version. Because seriously, he's a freaking moron. He deserves to have his skin peeling off.
Mama Petrelli continues to rule! As does Noah! Mama Petrelli's dream was very creepy and I love that i never really know what side she's on.
Elle and weevil!Peter could be my new favorite thing. And I feel bad for Elle. She didn't ask to grow up within the Company and no nothing else of the real world and it seems harsh (and irresponsible) to throw her out there to survive.
So is Tracy actually Niki's sister who was dead? Because Niki's alters all had the same power as Niki...and it doesn't make sense in time sequence for it to be a Niki alter. On the same token, I hope Niki is still alive simply for Micah. I love that kid and really, he shouldn't have to lose both his parents.
Totally called the Sylar is Mama Petrelli's thing in season one. Interested to see how it all plays out.
All in all, a great start. I hope it keeps building.

Not much else to report. Yesterday, my sinuses were killing me and work was crazy, so when I got home, I vegged out.
