I am terribly behind in all fandom ongoing things. I owe people beta work that is coming. I just have been sick and crazy - not the mindset one wants in a beta. I also have a ton of writing to get done (ya know, people who had birthdays last spring would like their birthday ficlets before the holidays) and fanfic reading to catch up on.

Of course, trying to explain these concerns to anyone in real life just makes them laugh. A whole lot. So I tend to just do what is required in real life and curse them under my breath.

So let's talk television for a bit:

Rob Thomas likes to toy with my emotions. He brings the Logan/Veronica to me and than snatches it away. indian giver. For the show, I understand why it had to happen. Logan really isn't in the place to be in a relationship (I don't think that Veronica is either, but we'll deal with that later) after everything that's happened. In the episode it's more like Veronica is a lifeline, a filler of his own void, and that's not what will make a relationship last. Who can live up to that kind of pressure? I also realize that if Logan/Veronica were to have a relationship now that lasted a few episodes, the writers would ruin it and it could never be returned to.

At least this way, I'm convinced that Veronica isn't over Logan either, but knows they can't be together now. A part of me thinks, she's with Duncan because he's safe, because he reminds her of a time when things were simple, even if things seem more complicated now than ever.

It will be interesting to see how that plays out as this divide between the haves and have nots plays out even further.

Weevil = love. Seriously. Love that boy.

Logan = I'll hug you, dude. Love you more than anyone. So you go make out with Cordy! You deserve it! But let's stop committing crimes, a little too psychotic jackass like your father.

Duncan = Eh. In the last few episodes of first season, he really became interesting, but now we're back to boring. I did feel for him for those few minutes where he thought Veronica had been on that bus. He's lost so much and that would've been running through his head. Poor guy.

Dick and Beaver = amusing. They're in the credits this year. Interesting. Definitely like to see how they play into this whole current situation.

Wallace = BFF! Seriously, he takes care of Veronica and she takes care of him. He's the one who gets her back on a case. They're always there for each other and they both need that.

Meg = crazy bitch out of nowhere. Hello, last year she was the one dating Veronica's ex-boyfriend and Veronica didn't go all crazy bitch on her. So why when the role is reversed is Veronica responsible for all? Whatever. I'm glad she died if that's the way she was going to act all year.

Veronica = all over the place in this episode, but considering all she'd been through that makes sense. She's dealt with a lot and wants to put it behind her, but that's not always so quick and easy.

All in all a very good start to a promising new season.

Vaughn is dead? Where the hell did that come from? I mean, I figured working on a show with your ex-girlfriend who was pregnant by the guy she dumped you for would be hard, but jeebus.

I did not see that coming, but all of a sudden Vaughn is shot with a machine gun.

At first, I thought maybe they had some of that pea-pod Francie drug that allowed him to come back to life, but no...he's fucking dead.

And Sydney's pregnant and trying to stop the men responsible for what happened.

I really liked the episode overall. It moved nicely. It's nice to see both Sydney and Jack in protective mode, but also to see how the whole team of them take care of their own.

Now, is the new girl from the Inside bad or was she duped like the others were by that guy?

Is the information Vaughn was trying to get connected to Rambaldi?

Anyway, I liked it. I won't stop watching because Vaughn is dead - though it does make Sydney look like she's cursed. You put the engagement ring on her finger and then you die!

For it makes the show that much more enjoyable, I find. She's just...not a good actress and the writers turned her character into a simpering idiot. Drives me crazy.

So I focus on Chloe. Clark knows that he can trust her; he also knows that she's been aware of the information, but never tried to pry more info out of him. I think that will affect him throughout the season, when his powers return.

Lois is in the credits. That makes me happy. I don't care what other people think, but aside from Lex, she is the only person on that show that Clark consistently has chemistry with. Sure, it doesn't fit correctly into the whole Superman world, but not much with this show does anymore. And I like Lois. She holds her own against Clark.

The whole part out of Superman 2 seemed a little misplaced, considering the way it was resolved so easily. I can only hope that those characters will return and play a bigger part at some point.

Loved the Clark and Lex scene, where Lex wants to know the truth and knows Clark is lying to him. It will be interesting to see how the writers play this out.

Tom Welling is pretty. I just like to look at him.

Could've lived without the cheesy Lana/Clark moment in the hospital.

But, all in all, not a bad start. And Tom Welling was pretty. Have I mentioned that?

Supernatural: Oh, brotherly angst. Dean is hot. It owns me. I loved his interaction with the kid and how he could relate to those feelings.

Lost: It was okay last Wednesday. Sawyer made me happy. Michael was an ingrate with the dullest backstory EVER. We learned absolutely nothing new about Desmond or the Hatch, aside from him wanting for "HIM". This Wednesday's should kick some ass.

Arrested Developement: It continues to be the funniest show on television. If you're not watching, it's sick and wrong. You should watch.

Ghost Whisperer: Oh shoot me. I like it. Damn it.

Everybody Hates Chris: It's hysterical. I don't hate you, Chris. I love you.

Gilmore Girls: Can we kill Rory? Please? Just a little sword through her chest? She's such a brat and gah...if she were my kid, I'd disown her. Lorelai can be selfish, but Rory takes it to a whole new place.

In other television news, I can't believe Seventh Heaven is still on the air. Who watches this show? Anyone? I bet it's produced by the devil, only explanation for that crap still being around while shows like Firefly, Wonderfalls, and joan of arcadia disappear.

The UPN is showing Farscape from the beginning on Sunday nights. Woo-hoo. Can never have too much Farscape in one's life. John Crichton love will never die. Never.

Okay, maybe I should take my lunch and then get some actual work done.

Ciao, my friends.

So much TV!

VM - I'm very excited at the promise of more Dick and Beaver. I was really happy to see that they'd been added to the credits and I really enjoyed them in the premiere.

About Logan/Veronica or Duncan/Veronica... I definitely don't think it was the right time for V to be with Logan. I can understand why she broke up with them and there's always the possibility that they can get back together. As for Duncan, I'm pretty much neutral about him. I'm definitely going to give them a chance though.

Alias - I'm spoiler free for the show, just so you know. :) I don't think that Vaughn is really dead. Yes, they've pulled this stunt before, so who's to say they won't do it again. I think I find it hard to believe, mainly because Sydney wasn't crying. She cries at everything, yet her fiance is killed, again, and she's not crying buckets...it doesn't seem consistent with her at all.

I liked the rest of the episode, I was so happy to see Jack again!!

SV - I'm going into this season with an open mind. I also really liked the Clex scene in the Kent house. I can't wait to see what's in store for the boys.

Supernatural - GUH!! I absolutely love this show.

Lost - I really didn't care for Michael's flashbacks, or Jack's the week before. I definitely think that those two episodes could have done without them, like the pilot did. I would have found it a lot more interesting, mainly because they could have added so much stuff.

Arrested Development - love it!

GG - Yes, kill Rory. And make Luke clones for everyone.

Have you been watching Kitchen Confidential? It's such a great show! With Bradley Cooper!

And, sorry about this, but it's been reported that Michael Vartan will be in an upcoming episode of Kitchen Confidential, so you should definitely tune in!

Will & Vaughn together again ... cooking ... in a kitchen with lots of other guys ... competing ... Vartan will be a French chef! :-p

Yes!

I heard about that!!

I cannot wait to see that episode, it'll be so great to see the two of them on screen together again!

Hee, I heard that he's a pastry chef! Here's to hoping that he'll actually get to speak some French and not English-with-a-French-Accent. :)

Yay! I like Michael Vartan, I was just growing sick of Vaughn (which made his death much less painful for me, I guess. I took it much harder when Will was stabbed!)

But ooohh competing chefs! That's just gay enough!

Oh, I love Kitchen Confidential! It has my dreamcast! Bradley Cooper, Nicholas Brendan, the kid who played Sam Weir on Freaks & Geeks - and then, the guy who plays Steven is hot!

It's not as good as Arrested Development, but it's up there!

Farscape on UPN? Yay!

ALIAS: I was totally spoiler free too. It rocks to be spoiler free. :-p

Yeah, it started this past Sunday with the premiere. It was funny because it's been so long since I've seen the first episode - now I'm tempted to jump ahead with my dvds through the whole first season.

Hey! I ADORE Seventh Heaven and I still watch it!

I still have yet to watch the last five episodes of last season of Alias and the premiere... part of the problem is people spoil me before I see it... so what's the point? *shrugs*

I've tried to watch Seventh Heaven (Barry Watson is cute), but it's just...I want to punch half the characters in the face. I figure that can't be a healthy response . heh.

Yeah, I stay free of spoilers whenever possible so I can enjoy the show - because when I've been accidentally spoiled, it's just taken stuff away from it.

LOL. Yeah, when you want to do that might be best to stop watching... My favs are Kevin and Lucy (married lucy, not young lucy! I couldn't stand young lucy!)

I try to stay free of spoilers, but for some reason I always seem to get spoiled. Someone even spoiled the new Firefly movie for me *growls* because they "forget" to use cuts in their freakage.

I just don't get how V can date Duncan after the fact that because of his actions, she spent a year thinking she had been raped.

Oh not to mention, how can you date someone who slept with you (Drunk/drugged or not) when he thought you were his SISTER?

Since FOX took The OC off for Baseball until next month. I think I will give Alias a couple weeks. But my reason for leaving had nothing to do with Vaughn being "dead" and everything to do with SpyBaby.

It was okay last Wednesday. Sawyer made me happy. Michael was an ingrate with the dullest backstory EVER. We learned absolutely nothing new about Desmond or the Hatch, aside from him wanting for "HIM". This Wednesday's should kick some ass.

The question still being if Desmond has been down here since the 70s (given the music) who the hell was in staduim wtih Jack.
