floundering) birthday, so growing up, it was always her birthday, not Valentine's Day.
That said, I love all the nice things I see going around fandom.valentinesecret is so cool. I love the icon (mine and everyone else's) - thank you. I love svmadelyn's Valentine's Day Game (You can still take part and email her up to 10 people that you love and what reasons...it's just a nice thing to do!). I love all the stuff I see going around my friends list. It's just...sometimes fandom is a really cool thing to be a part of. I love you all for always making me smile and laugh and sometimes drool at the hot.

1) I'm a lemming and couldn't resist doing that Johari thing. I've been trying to fill in answers for those on my friends list, but sometimes the page gets overloaded. It's always intriguing to me to see how others view me against what I think, especially regarding friends of the online world as sometimes you only see a portion of the person I am. The goal is this -- when you spot the meme, click on the link to that person's fanfic and pick something you haven't read before or never commented on when you did read it. The goal is to send positive feedback for something that you genuinely love reading. No negative feedback (after all, it's Valentine's Day, and we're all about showing the love) and no constructive criticism (since even when it's done nicely and is meant well, it can sometimes go the wrong way). Point out lines you loved, style choices you adored, that hot little thing that happened in the middle of the smut. Anything that you love to pieces.

The old electricity in this death trap that we're living in for the time being has caused my TIVO to short circuit. It, of course, chooses to do this during Arrested Development so now I'm waiting for the downloads to finish. If bittorrent didn't exist, I would be crying right now. Like it's not bad enough the show may not be back ever again, I can't miss episodes. I love that show. I would have its babies.
Also pissed because it means that I won't get my soaps from SoapNET since my roommate "accidentally" deleted my passes for General Hospital and One Life To Live. So yeah, now I'll have missed a *good* freaking week of soaps AND the Sonny/Brenda episode from the Love on the Rocks special thing. I miss my Sonny and Brenda, dammit.
Also, other GH people out there, have you guys heard the rumor that Rebecca Budig might take on the role of Brenda on GH? I read it in the ABC Soap magazine and they keep talking about it...I'm so torn on this. I love Vanessa Marcil and Brenda is probably my favorite soap character of all time. I love her so much. SO MUCH. So to see that role recast upsets me. HOwever, I do love Rebecca Budig too (only for her did I stick out the Rylee at the end) and if they *had* to recast Brenda, maybe it would work with her. I don't know. So torn on it. But hey, as long as it gets peapod Sonny away from Emily, I don't care. Ugh. ::sporks Emily::

That's pretty precisely why I believe Ducky's behind this evil. I think the the bitterness of being on a bad, bad show pushed him over the edge. A sort of, "If I can't have funny, NO ONE CAN" situation, maybe?

i am very hit or miss on GH and keeping up with it lately? but i do love rebecca budig...she's my all-time favorite michelle bauer, even over bethany joy lenz. greenlee was cool, too -- although remember when she first came on? what couple was she trying to break up, someone i really liked...one of tad's sons? or dixie's? anyway i was pissed about it. but she grew on me. she'd be a cool brenda -- but don't you think her and the current emily could be siblings? they look so much alike to me its kinda creepy.
but, seconded on "anything to split up sonny and emily," 'cause that's weird and gross. remember when all those kids were still in high school? and sonny was already upper 30s? (at least in my mind...) c'mon.
