So my evil best friend has gotten me hooked on Project Runway. I accomplished nothing all weekend aside from viewing Pirates of the Caribbean and Superman Returns with the family except for Project Runway ingestion.

I must say that I was quite happy with how it turned out. I loved Daniel and Chloe. They were my favorites, so yay for that.

The show was like crack, people. Santino's Andre/Tim stories, Andre's lack of a filter in his brain to stop him from saying certain things, the drama...it's crack.

Damn my best friend for knowing my weaknesses. She's an evil one. She calls it payback for Wonderfalls, but honestly, did I need more television in my life?

**

Let's talk other television:

Can't say I'm depressed to see Matthew go, and honestly, he had it coming. I'm not really the type of girl who believes violence is the answer, but really, he did it to himself. He knew what type of powers Isabelle had and by trying to control her, well, buh-bye.

And I love Shawn/Isabelle. It's a bit freaky because of her only being one, but they are both so pretty and I think that Shawn is going to play a huge deciding factor in the way that Isabelle goes. Because Shawn is basically a good person, wants good things to come out of everything that happens, and I think that being around Shawn could help Isabelle grow, especially with Matthew out of the picture. Now it's in her hands, the type of person she becomes.

I really loved the talk between her and Tom at the end. Because you do feel bad for Isabelle, being labeled this or that, even if she wants to eek out her own identity. And it's interesting because we've seen that she is capable of killing and hurting people, but at the same time, she's capable of caring about people and wanting to help them. She's still growing and learning, so it'll be interesting to see where this story goes.

That said - were Lilly and Richard taken by the same people that took the other 4400? was Isabelle something that happened within the ranks of those trying to create the 4400 or something different? Was Matthew sent back from the future as well? Or did he just figure it out somehow? So many questions...

Seriously, I love this show. I love this show more than natural. I think about this show as if it's real at times (i.e. - when hearing that POTC might break Spiderman's record, I immediately thought, but Aquaman already did that) and love each character so very much.

Ari will always be my favorite though. And him as the protective father, spying with the maid, having the boy sent to away to Khazikstan to work on a movie...hee. LOVE IT. I'd marry Ari if I weren't madly in love with Vincent Chase.

And how much do I love that Turtle is coming into his own with the Saigon stuff? Sure, Vincent helped him get the play on the radio and the meeting with Ari to get help, but this was all Turtle's thing. And it makes me happy for him.

And Drama has an agent again!

But the best stuff was Vincent and Eric trying to get to do both projects. I loved that Vincent was going to suck it up and let go of his dream project because of his sense of responsibility and such...and then the Warner Brother's guy does the opposite of that when they find a solution. So I loved Vince's come back. Yay Vince.

Have I mentioned how much I love this show?

Not much else to report. Regular life is giving me headaches at the moment and work is crazy and fandom has taken a backseat. I'm doing my best to reclaim my own space and stuff (very long stories), but it might be a little bit longer before I'm churning out anything decent to read.

well, aside from my Multiverse story, which I'm terribly worried about at the moment because it's very rough and it's for a writer that I really like and I don't want the story to suck. Fingers crossed that I get it all together (with [livejournal.com profile] iamtheenemy and [livejournal.com profile] ladybug218's help, of course - though they're just learning of this now. hee).

Off to catch up on friends list.

Ciao amigos!

After we finished the entire season, my sister and I went back and watched Santino's Andre/Tim bit over and over, chuckling the whole time. And I know a lot of people hated Santino, but just for that alone, I will always love him.

Yes, I succumbed. The best friend demands I watch and promises me gay boys (my favorite thing in all the world) and well, I'm hooked. Such good stuff.

And now I'm going to have to watch weekly rather than in one whole weekend. While probably better for my time, it will be sad to have to wait to find out who wins.

Oh, yes, there are always gay boys. In fact, one of the more fun games to play pre-season is "Spot the Heterosexual," because they could bring in a hundred male fashion designers, but only one of them ever seems to be completely straight. :)

I did nothing but watch the season 2 marathon of Project Runway, and loved every minute of it. Tim and Andre...Santino's impressions...yeah, it's crack, but I love it so, lol.

The best crack ever. I mean, honestly. I know nothing about fashion or the fashion industry, but I *love* it.

And love the icon. ::giggles::

Fashion seems to be a word that isn't in my vocabulary, but this show is awesome. And I thought you would like that icon, I stumbled across it and we have [livejournal.com profile] rhythmicdisease to thank for it.
