it's too hot to participate in life...

tommygirlIt's too hot to do anything. I just want to lay in front of an air conditioner and sleep until cold air comes back. I also got to thinking that if someone could figure out a way to make a car run on humidity, us Jersey folks would be set for life. Ten inches of snow and it still is humid half the time.
Because of heat-induced lethargy and life being evil in the form of roommate woes and such, both my CW Kinks Story and SPN 50 States stories are delayed. As I was telling Steph the other night, I think I need to stop signing up for prompt-type challenges as I tend to be bad about them. When I'm writing for someone, when I know someone is waiting for a story of his/her own, I never miss a deadline...so I should stick to those type of challenges.
The problems with those though is that I always seem to be on the shafted end of ficathons, where I never get a story written for me and I cry like the sensitive soul that I truly am.
So much writing to do. Someone make it cooler out and I'll get right on that.

3. I work in transportation management. Fun times, indeed.
4. I have lived in a New Jersey all but one year of my life (we lived in Philly until I was one).
5. My name is extremely close to that of a character from The Babysitter's Club series of books...and that's the reason I first started reading those books when I was little.
6. I want to take a vacation where I do the assasination trail for John Wilkes Booth like Sarah Vowell did in her book Assasination Vacation.
