some days linger for YEARS...

I have I mentioned lately how much I dislike Tuesdays at work? They are long and neverending days. It saddens me. And it doesn't help that I have no interest to do anything, even though I have a ton of writing to get done.
Tonight there is new Last Comic Standing - I actually like all of the final three, but Chris Porter is my favorite. No idea how it will go tonight though. There is also new Eureka and that show is such crap, man, but it's wonderful, enjoyable crap. I can't help myself.
And I watch way too much television, so you'd think I'd give up even the enjoyable crap. But no.

I saw the pilot of Studio 60 via Netflix as well and I seriously love it. It's a bit darker than the SN or WW started out, but I like that about it. I love the relationship between Matt and Danny, how Matt doesn't even have to think about giving up the upcoming movie to wait for Danny to be able to do it. If there is one thing Sorkin does well aside from banter, it's creating character relationships that I adore. On a shallow note, I loved Bradley Whitford in glasses. God, that was hot. I love that they have a Christian on the show who in the pilot appears to be sane (well aside from promoting a cd on the 700 club) and someone you could have a conversation with. Hell, I even liked Amanda Peete and I'm sorta indifferent to her normally.
But have I mentioned Bradley Whitford in the glasses? Gah.
On the same disc with Studio 60 was that Jeremy Sisto show, Kidnapped. Eh. It was alright. Maybe it if I was bored. I think it has the same premise as the upcoming Vanished on Fox, except that has Gale Harold and therefore wins.

Order me to do something, people. I'm so...indifferent to life lately. Really need to stop that.

Date: 2006-08-08 09:36 pm (UTC)I'm with you on Tuesdays, especially since they're my late days. I'm here from 11:30 to 8. Very long, but at least I get to sleep in. :)
