Reading through some of the suggestions for obscure fandoms over at
yuletide has gotten me quite excited for this year. Even if none of my suggested fandoms are incorporated, there still seems to be a large number of fandoms that fill me with many ideas and hope for great fic.
But it would be great if Road to Avonlea ends up on the list. I'd love for someone to write some Felicity/Gus fic. My love for those two knows no bounds.
Oh, and I know that at least
iamtheenemy will like the idea of this. I also suggested Jessica Darling books for possible fandom. Because there really should be some Jessica Darling/Marcus Flutie fiction in the world and we have until April until Megan McCafferty releases the next book.
So yay for
yuletide! I can't wait. That and
bubbleficathon has me all excited for challenges in a way I haven't felt lately.

Still madly in love with Supernatural and I have tons of fic ideas (though I'm still working on my first longer-than-drabble piece). However, I have no time for numerous fic ideas! I have to write 98 more Chris Perry Halliwell stories for
fanfic100 and I haven't even started my Seth Cohen crossovers for
crossovers100. What was I smoking the day I signed up for these? Good Lordy!
That does remind me that when I have some free time, I really need to go back to the two communities and read a bunch of the stuff posted and leave some feedback. I've been terrible with providing the feedback lately - and it's something I try to do with any story that I like.

Regarding Nano, I've come to a decision about my participation. I've decided not to participate by hurrying to finish one 50,000 word novel that will ultimately stress me out and make me feel like an abject failure (as it has almost every year in the past - I finished the first year...barely.). Instead, I'm going to use Nano month as a push just to write every day and not worry about word count. I have so much writing in fandom and real life to get done, this shouldn't be a problem...and maybe it will provide me with some discipline that I so strongly need.
But I'd love to keep up with y'all's progress on such things. I'm cheering you on from my lazy couch.

Not much else to report...am at work and I'm counting down the hour and a half until the weekend. It's a long weekend for me, as I have a floating holiday on monday! Woo-hoo.
Now I shall go attempt to write some.
Ciao, my friends!
