If you're not participating in summercon yet, you're really missing out. Lots of fun activities, from comment prompts/fic, to clips from all our favorite shows (you have to become a member of the online con for this lovely benefit, but come on, it's fun stuff), and a "blame someone else" fic challenge. Fun times. Multifandom. A little something, something for everyone.

For the first challenge, I wrote two comment ficlets:

And dude, there are so many great ficlets by people, even if you don't want to take a prompt for yourself, go read. For reals.

Watched the premiere of Jericho last night. It's a bit odd, but I'll give it more of a chance since Steven Chbosky is responsible for it. And he wrote one of my favorite books of all time, Perks of Being a Wallflower. not to mention, I've watched stuff for lesser reasons.

One week until new Supernatural. On the one hand, I want the week to go really fast so that new SPN is here. But on the other hand, the premiere of SPN is the night before the new roommate moves in and I have a ton of crap to do at the house (alas, the new "roommate" is my mother, but it's quite a long story and really, don't ever live with friends who fuck you over and break leases). So on that hand, I need this week to last a bit longer.

Why was there no new project runway? That was mean of them.

Have I mentioned how much the new John Mayer album rocks? God, I love that boy. His hair is out of control at the moment, but he's just...I love watching him play the guitar.

This work day is dragging and argh, livejournal in windows explorer sucks anymore. I have Firefox at home, but here at work, I am stuck with the crappy new version of LJ that doesn't let me highlight things. Bastards.

I've decided that someone out there needs to write me:

1) Happy, fluffy future Sam/Dean fic. No angst. Is it possible?
2) Studio 60/Sports Night crossover. I already mentioned it to lordessrenegade, but really, there needs to be Matt & Danny meeting Casey & Danny, hanging out, discussing what it's like to love your best friend more than anything in the world. Fun times.
3) Anything. Really. You guys on my friends list are brilliant writers, so just keep writing stuff that makes me squee. though that doesn't let you off the hook for the first two requests...honestly.

So on everyone's friends list, I've been noticing that "Tell me Twenty-Eight Things About you" comment meme. Well, stalkers, rather than replying to each of you separately (a huge task for such a lazy soul as me), I've decided to just post it here...

The Project Smallville Welcome Post is up with fun friend meet-n-greet and a list of activities leading up to the premiere. God, I love fandom. Such fun things and ways to interact with others. Because in real life, you can't go up to a random person and start giggling about Tom Welling's hotness.

FYI: those who volunteered to help with the organizing/planning of Not Quite Winchestercon, be on the look out for an email. Thanks for offering to help and hopefully we'll all be able to come up with wonderful ideas that will make the rest of us poor souls less sad that we're not in Nashville with the others.

Okay off to watch the finale of SPN again. My sister points out that I own the dvds, but like that matters. She just doesn't get my undying devotion to Dean Winchester (and okay, Sam too because that towel scene and his puppy dog face and...)
