tommygirl: (blade trinity - king)
I ended up having to take a personal day for stupid health issues that have arisen and my mother then decided to kidnap for the remainder of the morning to do "errands." On the bright side, I got Elliot Yamin's (MONKEY!!!) cd out of the mix. And so far, I love it a whole lot.

If you love Sports Night, be sure to check out the Sports Night Friending Meme that [livejournal.com profile] celli is running in her journal. Also, be sure to check out this post in [livejournal.com profile] laylee's journal about trying to create some activity for the fandom.

I was thinking a Sports Night Glee Week type of thing might be cool, but I'm so bogged down with real life obligations at the moment that I doubt I could plan it myself. But yes, anything that brings more Dan/Casey fic into my life is a very GOOD thing, people. I love them so much...I just sometimes get distracted by the Sam/Dean and Nathan/Peter.

**

Speaking of Sam and Dean...I don't know if this is because of the workshop I'm doing on unleashing my creativity, but I keep having these freaking plot bunnies of doom. The only problem is they would be long ones.

1) Dean Crossover 'O Doom - I will finish this first. I have about half of it in a draft format that only [livejournal.com profile] ladybug218 has seen so far. But I am pondering...how weird would it be to have Dean Winchester work with Alec from Dark Angel? And how sick would it be to have them be like, "Hey, you're hot...wanna make out?"

2) I was talking to [livejournal.com profile] iamentheos about this plot bunny, and after she listened to me ramble on about it, she said that I should do it after I finish the crossover 'o doom. It would be a gen fic that sorta deals with whether Sam can be saved and Dean's own issues with his purpose in the world...plus a whole lot of angst. I was torn about whether it would be wincest or gen, but after talking with Hedda, we agreed it would probably work best as regular brotherly love, and if the reader decides to infer something into their relationship, I won't stop them. heh.

3) People seem to want the one I had the dream about. Hitman!Dean, trying to make his own life, with John and Sam looking for him after he takes off.

These *MUST* wait. Ack! I want to finish up birthday fics that I still owe people (I totally have the list, I'm just *behind*) and then I'll be focusing on the two stories for whoever wins the bid on my offer for Sweet Charity.

Eep!

Last night's prison break... )

I didn't watch 24 yet as my sister and I watch PB and then finished up the first season of The Sarah Silverman show. I love her. She's so inappropriate. It makes me laugh.

Alrighty, off to finish up my laundry and stuff...then I'm hoping to read fic/beta/chill out until American Idol tonight. ANd say it with me: Sanjaya, please go HOME!

Ciao darlings!
tommygirl: (alias - sark - slytherin)
I was tagged by my evil weeble ([livejournal.com profile] iamentheos), and I'm waiting for my sister so we can start watching American Idol

To play, start by listing 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself. When this is done, choose 10 people to be tagged and write their names at the bottom of your list. No tag backs! Those who get tagged then write their own 10-item list in their own journals. Be sure to include this set of rules.

1. I love comedians and comedy. Some of my favorites are Kathleen Madigan, Gary Gulman (he's got a McGinley joke that will knock us on our asses), Christopher Titus, George Carlin...and many more. I love someone who can make me laugh.

2. I hate exercise. I absolutely hate every single second of it, but I think of it like one of those things like work. It's something I just have to do. But I am suspicious of people who *love* it.

3. The boy is included in this "is suspicious of" grouping because while he doesn't love regular exercise per se, he is uber active in snowboarding, sailing, etc...He really is lucky that I already loved him when I found these things out.

4. I will never forgive President Bush and VP Cheney for using the events on 9/11 - a time when I lost someone very close to me - in order to do whatever the fuck they want.

5. I hate even more that whenever I walk by Ground Zero there is always some asshole tourists who take pictures OF THEMSELVES IN FRONT OF IT like it's a tourist attraction and not a place where people gave their lives.

6. I'm mostly whatever, but as you can see there are certain things that turn me into an angerball. Usually, these things involve stupid, ignorant people.

7. I still listen to New Edition and I'm not ashamed. Well, not ashamed a lot.

8. I have a niece who is 26 who I refuse to let call me "Aunt M..." because it's weird. This annoys my brother, but he doesn't know the pain of having a neice that's only like four years younger than you (or having a brother old enough to be mistaken for your father more than once).

9. I believe in God. I was born/raised Catholic, went to Catholic school, and became sufficiently warped by these things. I wanted to be a priest and no one could make me understand why I couldn't be one...so over the years I've developed my own anti-religion spirituality. I believe in God, just not the dogmatic practics of religion.

10. I spent the entire summer before my senior year of high school living with a family in Salamanca, Spain. It was the best experience of my life.

I'm not tagging anyone. But if you want to do it, I'll read. I'm a curious girl.
