tommygirl: (supernatural - dean sleep)
So my current obsession is Burn Notice and like most of my obsessions over the past two years, I end up bringing it around to Dean Winchester. Because I love him much more than will ever be considered healthy. And now I really want to write fic where Dean is the spy who has been burned and he shows up at Sam's doorstep like, "mind if I crash here." And Sam is pissed and makes a bunch of bitchfaces, but of course let's him in and breathes a sigh of relief because he was always worrying about his damn brother.

I also really want to write a fic set during What Is and What Never Should Be where Sam & Dean grew up with the happy life in the dreamworld, but Dean discovers hunting and can't ignore the call to help people. And that alienates him from his family and they think he's crazy.

Of course, wanting to write and actually doing it are two very different things, especially since I have a few stories already. And I haven't even started this year's SPN Finale Choose Your Own Adventure - mostly because this year didn't really end like Devil's Trap where I had options to play with.

Maybe I should just focus on starting small. Or maybe finish up Winchesters Meet Halliwell Story Four...because [insanejournal.com profile] ladybug218 has been more than patient with me.
tommygirl: (jensen & jared - smiles)
So I cannot stop starting at these photos of Jared & Jensen. Not much work has been accomplished this morning as I stare at the pretty boys. Guys, my birthday is at the end of the month...can someone send these boys to me? I'm cool with sharing them with each other. Really.

Or who wants to write me Jared-and-jensen-scruffy-making-out fic?

It's like almost every other Tuesday here in the office, meaning it's moving exceptionally slow. I should write or do something productive, but I'm just blah. I want to sleep. Is that too much to ask for?

::stops whining::

::opens word::

I will write something.
tommygirl: (sga - sheppard - oh please)
So this morning began with me not noticing I was wearing sneakers with my business clothes until I was at the office. Fortunately, my boss is on vacation so it wasn't a huge crisis, but just a perfect example of how my day started.

Then it dragged until lunch.

And then I decided to run to Target because I needed laundry detergent and shampoo.

And proceeded to fall down in the detergent aisle.

In front of two workers who made me fill out an accident report even though I knew it was all me and my idiocy and I just wanted to go crawl off.

So I managed to mess up my ankle again. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow morning, who will just roll his eyes because I do this sort of thing fairly often (those who've been around for awhile know this to be true).

Because I hadn't planned to leave work for the day after my late lunch, I left my notebook and the Jessica Darling book on my desk. Argh. I started the next Nora Roberts in the Chesapeake Bay Saga, but really this is how I end up reading ten books at once.

Target had Smallville season five, along with all three seasons of One Tree Hill and first season of Supernatural (in case you were waiting to own it) on sale for 19.99...but I had to be strong. Mostly because my birthday is in two weeks and I really don't feel like hearing everyone bitch at me for buying myself stuff before my birthday. Even if I've never mentioned my secret desire to own the first three seasons of OTH, it is something that will just piss people off, so I must be good until the end of the month.

Dammit.

Before I scoot off, everyone should head over to [livejournal.com profile] shay_renoylds' journal as she is hosting a Songs of Love Meme!. Not only can you get love, but MUSIC. My name is there, so feel free to share the love via music. I'll try to return the favor (seriously, anyone know an easy way to get around I Tunes protected files? It's so annoying).
