The Supernatural Friday Five
spn_fridayfive:
1. If Sam and Dean had led a normal life, what do you think the boys would be doing with their lives right now?
I can see Dean as a fireman or a police officer. He takes joy in helping people and those are a few of the normal routes to go. Though honestly, he’s so good with kids, he would make a great teacher…but I don’t think he would necessarily see the results of his good work as quickly there and would probably do best with things like firefighting.
As for Sam, I don’t know. A part of me thinks he purposely chose law to be as opposite the spectrum as his father, his own way of rebelling. So who knows if he had a normal life with many things to choose from what he would do? I honestly don’t know.
And they would still be close, of course.
2. Who is your favorite female character in Season One, and why? Missouri was my favorite female character.
3. Why do you think Dean told Cassie about their supernatural life, but Sam didn't tell Jessica? Dean’s never not embraced his life dealing with the supernatural. So when it came time to leave Cassie, he wanted her to know why. He wasn’t ashamed of what he did. I think Sam didn’t tell Jessica because that would’ve shattered his illusions of normal. With Jessica, he was able to be a regular guy with a regular girlfriend in college…and if she knew the truth, who knows what they might’ve changed?
4. If the metallicar didn't exist and it had never been introduced, what other car would you of liked to see the boys drive? That’s an evil question because I can’t picture Dean in any other car. I’d guess a pick-up truck like John drove.
5. How do you think Sam and Dean handle who does the laundry?
“And rock takes scissors. That’s two out of three, Dean.”
“You cheated, psychic boy.”
“I didn’t cheat,” Sam replies, tossing the duffel bag of dirty clothes at his brother. Sam smiles and says, “I’ll be at the coffee shop checking my email. Don’t forget the fabric softener.”
“Bitch.”
