a little review...

I stayed up and finished Charmed Thirds last night. Good stuff. When I'm awake and not about to rush out the door to spend "quality time" with the family, I'll post more thoughts about the book. Viva la Jessica Darling!

Episode # 1.19 - Provenance
This was an okay episode. That was one ugly painting and I liked how it turned out to be the creepy kid out of the Ring sort of thing. But this episode was really "Let's get Sam laid and moving on..."
It wasn't one of my favorite episodes, but I did enjoy the brotherly moments. The beginning with Sam waking hangover Dean (the hottest hangover I've ever seen) with the horn and that really jovial laugh. I love that we're getting to see more of this part of the relationship between Sam and Dean. We've consistently seen the "I'd do anything for you" angsty side...but this annoying, joking brotherly side is still fresh and I *love* it so much.
But we did get some of those moments too. Like when Dean tries to broach the subject of wouldn't Jessica want Sam to be happy...and Sam gets that nostalgic smile and doesn't deny it. Good stuff. Gosh, I love these boys.
Dude, those boys really know how to pick hotel rooms. It's like a gift. Although the latest room looks like it could cause epileptic seizures.
I love flirty Dean who tries to get his brother's laid. I love annoyed Sam, who tries not to let his brother bother him.
the rest of it was okay. The girl was whatever and the monster was whatever...and I'm just counting down the days until the vampires and the reunion of the Winchesters.
So overall, decent episode, would've been better if Sam was in a towel again...or Dean was in a towel...or maybe both.

Alrighty, I'm supposed to go with the mother and sister to see Friends With Money. Not sure how I feel about this, but what can you do? My mother is paying.
Ciao amigos.

Date: 2006-04-14 12:24 pm (UTC)Sam is hot. I'm glad he's got some, although I'm not too sure I want him to move on either. But I LOVED Dean's reactions to it all.
And I agree, more towels and fence climbing. Who knew fence climbing could be so hot?
