So here's the thing. I'm a pretty laid back person, pretty "whatever floats your boat" type of thinker, especially where the Internet is concerned. I don't think fandom should be stressful or filled with drama and I try to keep my experience limited to people who share those sentiments.

But just to be clear, one way to get immediately on my bad side never to return from there is to start attacks on people, especially hiding behind "anonymous." You have a problem with someone, you go to them. Privately. You don't involve the whole fucking fandom/internet.

I try to be a good friend and kind and do what I can for fandom, but I'm hardly a perfect person. I hold a fucking grudge and can be quite a vindictive bitch. So if I find out people on my friends list are running or participating in hate memes where they're bashing other people (whether I know these people or not), I will ban you from my journal. That's how much that sort of thing pisses me off.

And now I will return to writing my spn holiday story. I will finish this...even though all I really want to do is find good Tony-centric fic for NCIS.

I think most of it was deleted now at the request of those targeted in the whole thing. But basically it was a hate meme that was very specifically geared to a few people and it was just personal attacks. Not cool, ya know?

Not cool at all, It was that wrestling thing, wasn't it? I never watched that show, mainly because I've never been a fan of wrestling.

There's no excuse for flames and personal attacks. Disagreements, maybe, but not attacks, especially anonymous ones.
