happy new year!!!

Happy New Year to everyone! I'm finding it hard to believe that 2007 is *already* upon us. Probably a surefire sign that I'm getting on in years - when time just moves so damn fast.

The boy and my sister have spent most of the evening playing with her new Xbox 360. We stopped and watched this History special called Life as we Know It about the many different ways the human race could go extinct. Cheery times.

Now, we've kissed and wished each other happy new years and the boy and sister are back in front of the freaking X-Box. So I shall post here and maybe read a little.

I wish nothing but the happiest and healthiest of new years for all of you. I'll do a review and wrap up and maybe post some fannish goals for the new year tomorrow. Tonight I'm not really in that mindset (too busy thinking about how I don't want to die from radiation from gamma rays or be shredded apart as a black hole sucks up Earth. Thanks History Channel!).

angelsgracie - Darling, you are an amazing person. Kind and talented and have always done so much for people without expecting anything in return. I value you a great deal and wish nothing but the best for you in the new year.

antheia - We've only just recently friended each other, but obviously you are made of the awesome for having such great taste in fandoms and now you're a cool aunt to boot. I hope 2007 is filled with you properly spoiling your new neice and I look forward to getting to know you better, most likely squeeing over shared love of shows.

anythingbutgrey - You're talented and smart and it's hard for me to believe you're so young. I hope you get into all your dream colleges and have a great new year.

arby_m - You haven't been around as much lately, but your posts always make me happy, whether it's episode reviews, fic, or just posts about your day. I hope you have a fabulous year.

aricadavidson - It started with a shared love of Eric Weiss, but now I always enjoy your posts. You're a great person and while we might not always agree on things, I value the opinions you share in your journal. Hope it's a good year for you, darling.

askmehow - We've only recently found each other (I think via the FNL friending meme) and so far you are an absolute delight. I love sharing an amazing fandom with you and look forward to getting to know you better throughout the upcoming year.

autobadgirl - I'm not even sure if you'll see this as you haven't posted in a long time, but you're talented and sweet and I wish nothing but good things for you!

azarsuerte - I'm glad that you've come into my friends list. You're talented and wonderful and you care deeply about the people your friends with in fandom. I hope we continue to get to know each other better in the new year and that all you want falls into place this year.

banfennid - I always enjoy reading your posts about both fandom and your work. I wish you nothing but the best within the industry and if you're nearly as acerbic as you come across in your journal, I'm sure I'll love to see the things you create on screen.

bantha_fodder - Darling, you write such good fic and I love to read your adventures with your sport (still maintaining I would kill someone if I tried). NOt to mention, you have an uncanny knack for getting me addicted to pairings I never considered before. Have a happy new year!

bitchygurl - You are wonderful and entertaining and full of interesting tidbits regarding popculture. I truly appreciate your presence on my friends list and wish nothing but wonderful things for you.

bonibaru - You're smart and such a positive voice in fandom. I wish nothing but a brilliant year for you with school and everything else.

bop_radar - You are fabulous, darling. You do a lot for fandom and never ask for anything in return. I always enjoy your posts and look forward to more in the new year.

carrielh - Carrie, you are amazing and smart and I don't think you give yourself nearly enough credit. I'm so glad that our mutual fandoms brought you into my life and I hope the new year is amazing for you.
