Here I Am

After writing/reading wonderful fic at the drabble-a-thon, everyone should head over to medie and wendy, who are both running love memes. I went through and tried to comment on people before I got distracted...and I'm going to head back over. Love and kindness are always good things to spread around, my friends, because then those people are more likely to be the same way to others.

And yes, I may have just written a Jared/Jensen drabble where Jared is jealous of Michael Phelps. I am so very lame and I love it.

Happy Friday everyone! It's miserable here, pouring down rain, which makes everyone suddenly forget how to drive. I'll never understand why that happens. Rain is not a new thing in New Jersey.

I want to thank you all for the lovely words in the love meme of the last post. I was having a crappy day and that just brightened things up. If I was capable of displaying emotion, I might've cried. Thank you. I love you all a whole lot and I'm so glad to have you all in my life in this online world. Please know that if any of you ever need anything, I'm here.

So I have two ideas for challenge-type things running through my brain at the moment. I might post about them today to gauge interest. ONe is a writing challenge, but the other is something I think anyone could have fun with. So here's to hoping.

In the meantime, I shall try to catch up on friends list, wish my headache away, and do the pile of work I have waiting for me.

So wendy pointed out that today is Happiness Happens Day and she provided some various hints on how to share happiness with those on our friends list.

Y'all are wonderful people that I enjoy getting to know and squeeing with characters and shows and books with. You're smart, fun, and you keep me entertained. I love you all.

Sorta snow day! We got to come into work an hour late this morning and the boss is buying those of us who showed up lunch and probably letting us leave early. Woo-hoo. This has the starts of an awesome Valentine's Day.

I didn't watch Gilmore Girls last night. Mostly because I love Lorelai/Christopher and I'm not sure my heart could've taken it, but also because my sister and I wanted to watch 24 and it's her "birthday week" so she gets her way.

Happy New Year to everyone! I'm finding it hard to believe that 2007 is *already* upon us. Probably a surefire sign that I'm getting on in years - when time just moves so damn fast.

The boy and my sister have spent most of the evening playing with her new Xbox 360. We stopped and watched this History special called Life as we Know It about the many different ways the human race could go extinct. Cheery times.

Now, we've kissed and wished each other happy new years and the boy and sister are back in front of the freaking X-Box. So I shall post here and maybe read a little.

I wish nothing but the happiest and healthiest of new years for all of you. I'll do a review and wrap up and maybe post some fannish goals for the new year tomorrow. Tonight I'm not really in that mindset (too busy thinking about how I don't want to die from radiation from gamma rays or be shredded apart as a black hole sucks up Earth. Thanks History Channel!).

Not really surprised by that. I feel like Jack from Brokeback Mountain. I wish I knew how to quit JC and the other boys of Nsync, but I can't. They are the unquittable Enis Del Mar, specifically JC. I've loved that boy since I was fourteen and he was on MMC. It's a long term obsession.

And it's weird that he was on GW last night because the other day I got this email from someone talking about reading Rhythm and Blues and then one from someone who just read Reinventions. How weird! It's been so long since I wrote those two stories. I mean, with R&B, I can sorta understand because I still haven't finished the sequel of Trouble In My Head, but it's just bizarre timing. Mostly because I've been thinking a lot lately about how the Nsync fandom (dude, way back in the pre-slash HET days) brought all these amazing people into my life that I'm still close with. Sometimes fandom rocks a whole lot.

I'm still attempting to go through the love meme and leave some love for those that I know, whether on my friends list or just someone's whose writing always makes me smile. These are the types of memes that I enjoy - when fandom is happy and sharing.

But yes, people, I love you so much that I keep pushing through that evil spambot thing. Livejournal really needs to make that an option for posts though. PLEASE.

I've done zero writing today. It would be one thing if I felt I was productive in other arenas, but aside from large piles of laundry, I've accomplished little today. I slept like the dead until about 1pm - so very nice - and then just stupid stuff around the house.

I was thinking about doing some writing now, but I've got Talk Cinema early in the morning tomorrow so I was planning to just veg out in front of the television and maybe rewatch all the FNL's as of now.

Where is all the Matt/Julie fic for FNL? I mean, I know some of y'all are writing great Matt/Landry and Jason/Tim, but I'm craving the Matt/Julie like whoa. ::nudges her wonderful friends list:: I mean, how cute were Matt and Julie in this past episode? He's so nervous and adorable and she simply smiles and lets him ramble. SO MFEO!

Think I will go through a bunch of the fic that I have bookmarked to read and make a dent in that. I haven't done any recs lately for polyfandomrecs because I haven't been reading a whole lot of fic this month. Must fix that.
