A real post will follow a little later when I have some time, but for now, let's get right to my thoughts on last night's Heroes.



Episode 1.18 - Parasite

Yay! Simone is really dead! It's not that I hated her, but she added nothing to the story...and when you have so much going on, you need to cut lose the boring stuff.

I really hate Isaac. He can go away. It's nice that you blame Peter for you shooting Simone. Maybe he shouldn't have taunted you, but you were the one who went after him first, all because Simone moved on after you chose drugs over her. What-thefuck-Ever. You can die. For real.

Nathan is working with the FBI to bring Linderman down. It explains a bunch of stuff. Each week I think, "self, it's not possible to love Nathan more than I already do," but each week I am proved wrong. I love him so much. As Hiro says later in the episode, he cares too much and tries to hide it. He especially cares where it concerns his family.

And that brings me to the Nathan & Peter scene! The touching! The worry! The fact that Peter still is the little brother and that Nathan wants to so badly to keep him safe - which you know is the reason he didn't tell Peter about Linderman. He didn't want him hurt. I just love them so much. Seriously, they come very close to my Sam and Dean Winchester love and I never thought that was possible.

I'm so bored by Nikki/Jessica. I think DL has figured something out, but really can this storyline go away. Just have her be Nikki and control her powers already. Bored now.

Poor Mr. Bennett. The minute we knew that the other girl could shapeshift, I figured they would use Mrs. Bennett against him. But where is she? Did they do something to her as well...because that was her in the beginning, right?

I love Claire. I love that she decides to be sneaky and go see Peter, that she trusts him more than anyone. She's strong and she's grown so much as a character throughout the season.

I actually guessed that Mama Petrelli was the one that was working with the Haitian once he said it was someone else who cares about protecting Claire. ANd it just addds to my Petrelli love. They are all so screwed up and manipulative, but god, they do love each other and protect each other...you're just not necessarily supposed to know it.

So I can't help but wonder if Mr. Petrelli was actually a part of the organization along with Mr. Bennett and Hiro's father...and he couldn't deal with it any longer and that's why he killed himself (or did he even kill himself?). And then it makes me wonder if that's why Nathan was able to fly away when Mr. Bennett and the Haitian came after him? Because the Haitian didn't block out his powers due to his loyalty elsewhere?

Hiro and Ando are reunited and they have the sword! I love that Ando didn't just walk away...and that's Hiro's affect on him throughout the season. However, where the hell did they end up?

I love that the only thing that keeps Nathan from killing Linderman is not the fact that he'll be dead too, but that Linderman might be able to help Peter and Claire. I don't care how much of an asshole he can be, he is so awesome. I love him.

I seriously love this show so much.

And why another hiatus? It should be LAW that there are always new episodes for this and Supernatural! Law, I tell you!

Real post to follow in a bit...now I want to read others' reactions to last night's episode. Tonight when I get home I'll see Black Donnellys and 24! Monday night is too chock full of good stuff!

Simone's story really had played out. And if they ever come up with a good story to use her in, they have a time traveller and the fact that it is a sci-fi world, and dead doesn't always mean that you're gone. I like the way they've handled things so far, and I'm not at all upset to see her go.

What is it about the Petrellis? I want to pick them up and smoosh the whole lot of them. *loves*
