Hey everyone! Hope all is well. It looks like livejournal/fandom was a wonderful place of love this weekend. Of course I miss out on that.

But just so we're clear. I love you all. If you're on my friends list, you're here for a reason. And in general, my feelings about fandom are usually great. Almost everyone is kind and generous and smart and so damn talented.

(I also have not forgotten about finishing my friends love for the new year. I'm a tad bit behind, but it will get done. Really. It will.)

**

I also seem to have some new friends through recent friending memes and other arenas.

::waves::

So I figured it was time to do more facts that no one really wants to know about Tommygirl. (Links to Volume 1: Who is Tommygirl & Volume 2: laws of land & more facts)

1. No matter how much I wish it weren't so, I am not crafty. It's sad, but true. I was the worst Girl Scout in all the world. My friend, who is very crafty, has tried to teach me cross-stiching and crochet and I even took a beginner's knitting class. These are all things that release stress for my friend, but not for me. I find it all very stressful and imagine getting tangled in my yarn and strangling myself. Though it would probably still be better than just watching me attempt to thread a needle.

2. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for someone if I could help them out, especially my friends. I firmly believe that a great testament of who we are is in how we treat other people. That doesn't mean I'm a saint. I can be a vindictive, evil bitch if you get on my bad side. And once you're on that bad side, well, you could find a cure for AIDS and I probably still wouldn't like you ever again.

3. This is the year of me trying to get my life in order. I've hit thirty, you see, and find that it's about time for me to step back, evaluate, and do whatever it takes to make me truly happy.

4. I have the sense of humor of a ten year old boy. I love "yer mom" jokes and have a tendency to make everything dirty.

co-worker: I have to unpack that box.
Me: (giggles) you said *box*

friend: Sometimes it's really hard...
Me: Boy if I had a nickel

5. There are two very distinct periods of my life. Before my dad died and after my dad died. He died when I was eleven, so it's not something that torments still, but there are days where I just really wish he was around (even if just to spare me from my mother's insanity)

6. Speaking of insane mothers...mine is a republican. She gives money to the Pro-Life movement. She voted for Bush...twice. She often says horrible things to me like, "one day you'll be a Republican too." ::shudders::

7. My sister is my very best friend in the world. I love her like a fat boy loves cake. Even when she is an uber bitch and makes me want to shake her silly.

8. My soulmate is not the boy in my life, but my other best friend, Shannon. When we had just arrived in Ireland, we both bent down to pick up the same suitcase and banged heads. We then simultaneously pointed at one another and said, "Soulmates." (If you've seen Matchmaker you understand this...if not, oh well.) Her husband and the boy have come to terms with the fact that this is just how it is and will never change.

9. I can't be around stupid, ignorant people. If you've had opportunities for education/reading/learning new things, and just choose ignorance...it bugs me. I think that's part of the reason why I dislike President Bush. He prides himself on not reading or keeping up with current events. Yeah, that's so cool.

10. I'm pretty patient and typically very "whatever" about most things. But that all changes on the roads. I get so frustrated with bad drivers, I have to resist the urge to kill someone.

11. I like to think I’m very approachable if anyone ever wants to chat. I’m not on AIM a lot (though I sometimes forget to sign off when I do sign on…oops?), but my AIM SN is storydivagirl. Best way to get a hold of me is via email: tommygirl828 (at) gmail.com. Feel free to ping me for anything, even just random chat when bored. I love random chat with people.

12. As approachable as I am, I rarely initiate conversations with people unless I’ve chatted with them a lot via comments already. I’ll talk to anyone, but I’m shy about starting it. (I don’t claim my neurosis makes sense!)

13. I’m the pickiest eater in the world and if it were possible to live on pizza and not weigh 600 pounds, I would totally do it. And my food can’t touch. The best invention ever was the separated plate.

14. One of my surefire favorite things in television/books/movie is the sibling relationship, especially if it involves big brother/little brother or big brother/little sister. I’m a sucker for it. I will tolerate a whole lot for that relationship if its done well. Note: fortunately, Supernatural, Heroes, Black Donnellys are giving me really good shows AND brother relationships at the moment.

15. I’m not really shy, but I’m not really outgoing either. I have to get to my comfort zone around people before I really become my chatty/outgoing self.

And since this week's Tuesday Ten hasn't been posted, I'm going to take the opportunity to do last week's first.

1.Which bandwagon are currently jumpin on? There honestly aren’t any bandwagons I’m jumping on that I can think of unless the health/fitness craze is one, but I see that more as a necessity than bandwagon.

2. Do you have an absolute fave hairdresser you go to, always see, wait to get an appt with, or are you a rock up at the nearest establishment pot-luck type? Lately, being broke like a broke thing, I’ve been using Hair Cuttery for the simple trim, but I do have one specific hairdresser that I’ve followed from various salons because I love her and she will do anything I ask, no matter how bizarre – like my tri-color thing – and it comes out awesome.

3. What's your favourite beverage? Cherry Ginger Ale.

4. Do you still have all (or some) of your school report cards? (if your folks still have em, I reckon that counts :) ) and if you're still at school, do you still have report cards from even earlier school?

I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure that they got tossed when my mother sold the house I grew up in four years ago.

5. What's your favourite fragrance? Soap.

6. Sound of rain across your rooftop at night. Yay, or nay? Yay.

7. Did you watch the Oscars this year? In its entirety? Or just in the SPN ad breaks? (for the Aussies :) ) I’m not Aussie so the SPN thing doesn’t apply, but I watched the Oscars. The Oscars are my superbowl! My sister and I have a big night of it, having watched all the nominated movies, and stay up through the after party coverage.

8. Why do birds suddenly appear, every time you are near? I really wish I knew because birds scare me.

9. What OTP is your current OTP-est of OTP's? Sam/Dean

10. Ever "fibbed" to get a job? Nah.

If I spam today, I apologize ahead of time. I'm trying to get caught up on things and I'm bored at work. Double trouble.

Ciao darlings!

Darls, I may take your lead and do a couple of these 'who am I' things for my new journal. Ah, once more into the breach, my friend!

Oh thank god. I have a sixteen-year-old brother and we have basically the same sense of humor, and I really thought I might be the only one in my age group who was like that.

The best invention ever was the separated plate.

YES.
