Happy Friday everyone! I'm feeling much better, managed to get my butt to the gym early this morning! And it's almost the weekend again!
Who keeps voting for Sanjaya? I don't understand it. Yes, I thought he was adorable at first when he auditioned...but he has SUCKED up the stage. Even he knows it. So why do you keep putting him through?
I'm hardly Sundance's biggest advocate (or really any of the boys for the most part), and this week's choice of song was pretty bad, but overall, he's better than Sanjaya.
And this after Sabrina loses out to Haley???
Oh my god America! What the hell are you doing?
The only thing with that I can think of is that there were five girls who basically all have the strong voices. And people pick one of them to vote for, assuming the others will be okay too...and it made room for someone like Haley to sneak in.
Oy. Why every year are there like two or three people that really shouldn't be there that make it to the top twelve?
I got caught up on Black Donnellys for the week.
As I expected, this week we saw a little more of at least one of the other brother's character get some attention.
I love Kevin a whole lot. I already loved him based on that one line in the pilot..."Wherever You Are." Gah.
It was gross at parts, the stuff with the mallet. I'm with Kevin. I'd be throwing up.
But really, I just love the characters and their relationships. Mostly, I love Kevin and Tommy. The bickering and yet how Kevin was there when Tommy went to take the money back and how you know Tommy would do *anything* for Kevin.
And they should always be wearing only their underwear. I'm totally cool with that. Oh yes.
As always, I love Tommy a whole lot. I love that he wouldn't bail Jimmy out and that he wouldn't let Kevin do it either. Jimmy really didn't leave them much of a choice and it's for his own good. I love all these things he knows and that he just does what he has to do in order to keep his family safe, no matter how hard it is, or what it costs him in the end.
The Jenny/Tommy stuff was okay. I like Jenny fine enough, but it's not really why I'm watching.

While I was sick I watched episodes 2.1 through 2.6 of Supernatural. NOthing like Sam and Dean to make me feel better. I really love this show. I really love Sam and Dean and their relationship. That's all I need to put a smile on my face. Sam and Dean and how much they love each other.

I have changed my layout thanks to
iamentheos. She made me an amazing layout/default icon AND sent me the instructions so that I could change it without crying. She's so awesome. And she's already started writing SPN fic. YAY!
So yes, new layout. Feel free to check it out.
And on that note, I shall try to catch up on my friends' list and begin going through the huge backlog of fic I have to read.
Ciao!

Date: 2007-03-09 06:33 pm (UTC)did you know the next ep is up on NBC.com until monday? for your weekend viewing pleasure. it was very enjoyable, though i tend to get bored whenever one of the brothers isn't in the scene. but that's ok, because there's four of them, and they're everywhere. its quality.
still miss studio 60, but TBD is fabulous.
