a nice day of nothing spectacular...

Today was a nice relaxing day. My sister and I were on our way to run errands and we went past the movie theater and just decided to go see a movie, as we haven't been in awhile. We ended up seeing Tv Set with Ioan Gruffud and David Duchovney. It was funny and smart and Ioan had his accent which makes me happy. It's a satire on the television industry and making a pilot that a network will actually air. Highly enjoyable. My sister and I decided that maybe we should choose all movies just based on what time they start.
After that, I did the errands and then came home and watched some NCIS season four - I am *almost* caught up for this season. I love every character on this show, but mostly, I love the way they all interact and play off one another.
Than at dinner, my sister and I got caught up on the last two episodes of Ugly Betty.
1.19 was more of a filler episode for me. Not a whole lot happened. It was still enjoyable. Constance was crazy and I'm glad that storyline is over with. But I think it was one of those things that sorta showed the whole one step forward, two steps back thing with Daniel. I think he does want to be the good grown up man, but doesn't always know how to do it.
That said? I'm totally glad Betty didn't take his call right away. While I'm glad she ended up forgiving him and talking to him, he really should've been smacked. He can't have it both ways.
I'm also glad that she forgave Christina. Christina didn't know what she was getting involved in when she agreed to *help* Willie.
I love Mark. I just love Mark.
I also just love Justin. I love his idea for a party to celebrate his grandfather's green card.
And how cute is Henry? So damn cute. And he and Betty are such a good team together. ANd now even Charlie sees it, so I hope something happens on that front soon. I think Henry is a really good stepping stone for Betty. (Is that horrible to say? I mean, I like Betty/Henry, but I'm a Betty/Daniel girl at heart.)
The closeted straight man! Where do I find one of those?
I totally saw the whole thing with Alexis and the guy coming. I figured he was working for Bradford. But I can't say I feel bad for her. I honestly don't think Daniel has done anything to deserve all her ire and yet she doesn't try to help him. So she's sorta made her own karma on that end.
I love this show. It's so wonderful.

Tomorrow there is new Brothers & Sisters and new Entourage. I highly suggest both these shows if you're not watching. Good stuff. Very different from each other, but both really good in their own rights.
And I think I shall read for a bit before sleep.
Ciao darlings.
