Chicago Area People - question

Hey guys! Question for you. My friend, Mike, is going to be in Chicago for a series of baseball games in mid-May. All the hotels he can afford are all around O'Hare and he needs to know if it's easy to get from the hotels by the airport to the baseball field - like easy public transportation especially since he will most likely be drinking.

Any information I can pass on will be greatly appreciated!

Hey, totally not from Chicago but I was there in February and we stayed at O'Hare and travelled to the Cubs stadium. It was very easy. Just hop a shuttle from your hotel to the airport where the train system thingie is. Make sure you're on the right train and you should be there in about twenty/thirty minutes. I think we got on a bus from the train. Lots o' public transportation! There was tons of snow though, so we might have been able to walk from the train to the stadium if not for the bad weather. I'm not sure. Hope that helps a tiny bit:)

you may want to quantify WHICH baseball team he is going to see, because Wrigley is comparatively close to o'hare, Comisky, not so much. Using the El's is pretty good...

The main landmarks you need are O'hare to Wrigley Field [Cubs] or O hare to Comisky... er, I guess they renamed is US Cellular field [it's a joke, right. It's not Comisky anymore?]
*cough* yes well US Cellular Field [home of the White Sox]

Also, since this sort of thing is done often, his hotel will probably have maps of it... he can also plug in his exact hotel address into the Trip Planner, and that will tell him the closest station better than O'hare, where the station is actually at the terminal...
