I know we need plants and bees and pollen, but my allergies are killing me, man. KILLING ME. I think someone needs to send me Dean Winchester immediately! Sure, he might not be able to cure my problems, but he could distract me.

My sister and I continue our nerdy nature of watching anything and everything on the History channel. We watched the first half of this two hour special on Sherman's march through Georgia.
But we had to stop because it was time for Heroes and we all have priorities. In a contest of history versus Nathan Petrelli, Nathan wins.
Episode 1.21 - The Hard Part
I love Sylar. I love that he calls Mohinder looking for help/someone to talk to when he finishes his painting and thinks he's going to explode. I love his weird conscience issues - killing innocents who don't deserve it versus those with special gifts - and trying to make sense of what the point of all he's done is if he's going to blow up and die. And the scenes with his mother, where he's looking for her blessing to just be normal and not special (which she doesn't know is his way of getting told to stop the killing), only to be told that he is special...so very good and creepy.
Poor Hiro. I love that he doesn't want to be like future Hiro, who has forgotten that killing should be hard. And that's so true - Hiro wants to be a good hero, wants to believe that life is sacred.
I also love that he tries to do it because Ando tells him what happens to him. They are BFF awesomeness.
I'm still not sure why Linderman, Mrs. Petrelli, and the company want NYC to blow up so badly. I love that Nathan is torn about it and I love that Peter does get through to him a whole lot, whether Nathan even realizes it all the time. Mama Petrelli talking to him about faith...I think she's worried in the sense that Nathan really only believes in Peter and that Peter could sway him away from this plan - and that makes me think that whoever posted in my comments last week about her knowing how to heal Peter but choosing to keep him out of the way for the time being was onto something.
I loved the Peter and Claire stuff in this episode. He really is the person she depends on and he depends/trusts her a whole lot too. I loved that Peter wanted claire to have faith in Nathan because he simply does.
The Nikki/DL stuff was just stupid, but they better not kill Micah. I will be pissed. I love that kid. He is SO cute.
Overall, great episode, but the two-part finale is going to kill me, I think. That combined with SPN...how will I survive?
One question - anyone know if the season finale is airing in one two hour increment or if it's split over two weeks? A few of us in emails aren't sure.

I must warn that there may be spaming of my journal from me today. I'm pretty damn bored at work. That said, I'm also behind on journal reading/fic reading/etc...so depending on my mood, I apologize ahead of time.
Ciao darlings!
