I'm still in love with Things Sam Has Not Missed About This Life (http://cupiscent.livejournal.com/366730.html). It's set in S1 (written mid-S1), but it nails their dynamic as brothers, even after an additional year and a half of canon.

I cannot believe that amount of fic there is in this fandom. I haven't even begun to look outside of LJ yet and already I'm overwhelmed. However I really liked the Second Sight Series (http://assignations.org/spn/sight_index.html) by maygra and there's also I Can't Quit You Baby (http://xaara.livejournal.com/105741.html), a very cute Brokeback Mountain-esque story involving sheep by xaara.
