Battling bronchitis. Seems the sinus infection never went away and became bronchitis. Great stuff. I'm having so much fun with it.
The brightside is...
Heroes is back, my friends!
Episode 2.1
I love Hiro. I love his reaction to where he is and finding out that his great hero is an English guy who doesn't seem to really care about anyone or anything. But it's David Anders so I'm happy about this. And I love the idea of them being a duo of sorts in the past. It's Hiro that makes all the legends occur, isn't it? Gotta love it.
And I love that Hiro's dad and Ando are in NYC where Hiro disappeared waiting for him to come back. Ando is the complete BFF, trying to protect Hiro's dad because he knows what it will mean to Hiro in the end.
I thought that was Nathan that Ando bumped into on the street and it was right. Scruffy, bearded Nathan who is completely lost without Peter, his other half. I love the scene between him and his mother. I just can't get my handle on Angela Petrelli...but let's focus on Nathan and how much he needs Peter.
The Bennett family stuff is okay. Claire is doing her best not to stand out and I totally knew HRG was going to snap at some point. Can't say I blame him and it was awesome when it happened.
Mohinder and Matt are Molly's my two dads. this is awesome. And Molly is still so damn cute.
I figured it was Peter in the container. And he was wearing the symbol that was on the pictures around his neck...so are we to assume that whoever has him is the one of the original heroes who is killing the others? And is this the same person that is haunting Molly's dreams?
And Peter doesn't remember who he is and has lost the emo bangs.
Good stuff.
Overall, a great start to the season. There was so much to visit, so I would've loved to have a two hour premiere, but I'm a greedy girl. next week should be cool to see where it goes. And I really need a Nathan & Peter reunion in the near future.
I watched Gossip Girl. It was okay. Stuck to the book a whole lot for the pilot so I knew what was going on, but I'm not sure it's anything that I need to see. I have a feeling it could get old rather fast.
Also caught Journeyman. It's just really odd and I'm not sure I understand what's going on. I don't do well with shows that confuse me from the get go.
I had already seen the Chuck pilot so I chose Prison Break this week. Next week though, PB will get downloaded. I feel sorta bad about this because it's not doing so well this season so far, but Chuck was an awesome pilot and I can't wait to see how it plays out.

I'm going to attempt to catch up on friends list now as I haven't read it since Saturday. Stupid sickness. I've honestly slept most of the past three days away. I've been up long enough to shower, eat, and visit the doctor. Good times. I'm living la vida loca.

I don't think we can assume that. For one thing, the helix symbol isn't new - it was around from the pilot episode. For another, it looks an awful lot like the necklace the Haitian was wearing all last season. (Which would go a long way in explaining Peter's memory loss, dontcha think?)
My crazy theory of the evening is that Peter absorbed Niki/Jessica's powers/dual personality. So he can go around killing the people who tried to sacrifice him "for the greater good", and then not remember anything the next day when he "wakes up". Ain't I crazy?! LOL

I don't think Peter can absorb Niki's dual personality because I think that's just mental illness and her power is super strength.
