why is this day going slow?

Except for Friday Night Lights and this week's Dirty, Sexy, Money, I am caught up on my television viewing! I really do watch too much television, but the pretty things lure me in and then if it's enjoyable I stick around.
I love Henry. He's just so adorable and how he tried not to let Betty get upset when her date ditched her. (Which, that dude was no prize - he was one to judge). I'm glad that Betty decided to just go for it with him and they kissed. Because I couldn't take much more of the back-and-forth.
I'm glad that Hilda snapped out of this funk of hers and was able to get Justin back on track. But c'mon. Even when he's trying to be a tough delinquent, Justin is so gay. So cute.
I don't want Alexis and Daniel to grow apart again. I loved that this season they were close and getting along and supporting one another. Sure, I don't exactly support the idea of trying to have your father murdered, but Bradford is a bit of a dick.
Mark and his boyfriend, Cliff, were my favorite thing! I loved them together! Gay boyfriends make me happier than anything, even Henry/Betty finally happening, and I hope Cliff forgives Mark.
The Wicked stuff was okay. I love that Daniel is so protective of Betty, but I also want to strangle him. He has her on this pedestal and she's got to be allowed to make mistakes and learn her own lessons...just like she can butt into his life all she wants, but in the end, he's going to make his own decisions.
I also love Geo's relationship with Betty. I like that he annoys her and picks on her and yet sometimes manages to get her to see things about herself.
Let's talk about Wicked for a second: Eden Espinosa was playing Elphaba, right? She was really good. I love her voice. But who was playing Glinda? My God, that was just really bad. Glinda is supposed to be bubbly, not on an adrenaline shot.
Finally, I loved the end with Hilda telling Betty to go for it and being on her side. That was adorable.
I love that the show is getting back to the comedy side of things. I don't like it when it strays too far.
Let's get to Supernatural and how much I always love and adore this show. And why, no matter what other shows out there start to worm their ways into my heart, Dean & Sam Winchester always own it.
Episode 3.5
I love the use of fairy tales as part of the monster of the week. It's creepy and fantastic.
The fight with Sam and Dean at the beginning. I love them so much. And they love each other so much. And they are such brothers in this season with the "you're not dad" "I am the oldest" back-and-forth. And I love that bitchface Sam just shoots Dean and Dean trying to get him to focus back on the job at hand.
::huggles the boys::
I love how Dean always makes Sam the one who loves the dolls or who does the drawings. ::giggles:: And how Sam just gets flustered and goes along with it.
The scene with the construction guy who lost his brothers and him asking if they have any idea what that's like. The look between Sam and Dean before Sam answers - because Dean does know what it's like and Sam can't stop thinking what it *will* be like for him. I really love how well Jared and Jensen can share so much between each other without uttering a word. Like in the premiere of this season, it's just perfect in a way words never would be.
The dude eating the grandma was really gross. ::shudders::
I love Dean picking on Sam about knowing all the fairy tales and then Dean being the one to figure out why the ghost was angry with his movie love.
But really, this whole episode comes down to the end with Dean telling Sam to take a lesson from the doctor and Sam getting that look like, "you want me to let you go"...just gah.
Someone needs to write me the missing scene where Sam makes it clear with kisses and other things that letting Dean go is not an option before he sneaks off, leaving a well-fucked Dean behind, to go deal with the Crossroads Demon.
And Sam just shot her dead, which continues with the lines that he's willing to cross to save his brother. But it worries me a little. he didn't even think twice about the fact that he was killing a person in there.
Mostly, this was an episode I've wanted and want more of, the ones that focus just on the boys again and how much they love each other. That's why I love this show. everything else is just cake.
But really, someone *needs* to write that missing scene for me!
Aside from that, I got caught up on Brothers & Sisters. Who knew that Joe was such a complete dick? He talks about stability when *he* was the one who cheated, he was the one who left, and he was the one who wanted a divorce because he was dating his ex-wife. It sounds to me like *he* is the problem, but because Sarah works he can make a case otherwise. I never liked his character and this just makes me hate him more. And the whole idea that a woman who works can't be a "stable" parent bugs the hell out of me.
Justin and Kevin both continue to be adorable. Tommy is worrying me. And I love how gossipy the Walkers are!

The Supernatural Friday Five ([Unknown site tag]) - Week 50
1.) Which new Supernatural character do you like best and why? Which new Supernatural character do you like least and why? (Be as brief or elaborate as you please!)
I like Ruby the best, mostly because of the new characters that have been introduced, we've seen her the most. Plus, I find it interesting that a demon is helping Sam and I want to see where this is going.
2.) From what we have seen so far in season 3, which plot and/or character's fate are you anticipating most? Is there anything you're not looking forward to?
I'm hoping for how Dean will be saved. If it will be Sam, via Ruby, that helps him do it or if it plays into the bigger demon storyline of demons wanting to find Lucifer (which means there must be angels, right?). I'm both looking forward to and fearing how far Sam will go to save his brother. Dean is the most important thing in the world to him and Ruby knows that and can use it...I just hope that Dean is able to keep Sam from going completely dark (Because I'm not sure there is anything that would break Dean more than being the reason Sam went evil).
3.) What do you think about how the show is handling Sam and Dean finding out more and more about other hunters and the hunting world in general?
Overall, I am enjoying how things are coming out and the people they are meeting. And I love Dean's comment about how his father kept it all from them for the most part...but I still want Sam & Dean episodes. Where it's them dealing with the moftw on their own. That's what I love most.
4.) In 3x01, "The Magnificent Seven", do you feel Dean was in-character or out-of-character? Please explain.
I think he was fine. It's only been a week since the gate opened, the YED was killed, his brother died in his arms, and he made a deal with a demon for his soul to save Sam. Not to mention the moment with their dad. that's a lot for anyone to take in...and Dean's trying to do it in a way where Sam doesn't worry or feel guilty as well as keep himself from freaking out about it. I honestly don't think he wants to die, but he wouldn't want to live without Sam more. And he was honest with Sam about being selfish, but he knows that Sam can go on - Sam's been on his own before. Mostly? I think Sam being so damn nice to him was driving Dean crazy, so I think all those comments/moments were him needling Sam until he stopped being like that.
5.) What did you think about 3x03, "Bad Day at Black Rock", being so humorous?
I loved it. Because it also said a damn lot without all the angst we normally get. And it just makes me think of what Dean probably dealt with all the time when Sam was growing up. Because you know Sam was precocious and Dean was always rolling his eyes and saying, "Why would you climb up a tree if you didn't think you could get down, Sammy?"
I love Henry. He's just so adorable and how he tried not to let Betty get upset when her date ditched her. (Which, that dude was no prize - he was one to judge). I'm glad that Betty decided to just go for it with him and they kissed. Because I couldn't take much more of the back-and-forth.
