I really don't like Tuesdays very much...

Today is not such a great day, but rather than focus on that, I shall think about last night's television. And that made me quite happy. As did the news that Chuck was picked up for a full season (so c'mon! Give the writers what they deserve!).
Chuck/Bryce. I have found the slash for this fandom after all. I'm still much more into Ellie/Captain Awesome as far as fic goes, but Chuck/Bryce has some very interesting potential, and throw Sarah into the mix...HOT.
Bryce's whole betrayal takes on an even different level as you get part of his perspective as far as Chuck's potential. I honestly don't think Bryce believed that losing Stanford would stand in the way of Chuck achieving his dreams. I think he figured Chuck would still be able to do what he wanted and remain the good man that he was. He didn't expect it to throw Chuck so completely into a tail spin.
I like that Bryce could show back up at anytime as the show progresses, but that he won't *always* be around. It closes up some loopholes as to the how/why things began, but we can still have that interesting dynamic.
This week's fic request: Captain Awesome and Casey doing an adventure sport together. Bonus if you can throw chuck into the mix.
This show seriously makes me happy beyond belief. It's right behind SPN on my favorites and that's a show that is pretty impossible to beat for me.
It'll be interesting to see how things play out in the wake of Bryce's reappearance and to see how Casey takes his orders to eliminate Chuck. Because I don't think it will be as easy as "those were my orders" like it was with shooting Bryce, no matter how much Casey would probably like to think otherwise.
Seriously, if they could just have started the season around the Four Months Ago episode, this season would've been great. Because last night was very interesting even though I still didn't get my Peter & Nathan reunion.
I'm glad Alejandro is dead. I hated his character. He was annoying, had no personality, and he tried to turn his twin sister into the police. The only interest I ever had in him was as Sylar's prey, so I'm glad it turned out the way it did. And, as Sylar says, he tried to give him an out. Hee.
Sylar should always be shirtless! Where are the icons/caps of that?
Adam and Peter should also be shirtless. And maybe wet and lathering each other up with soap.
Er...where was I?
I love that Sylar is helping Maya, but it's all for his own reasons. I love even more how easily he manipulates her.
How did Peter & Adam find the Pratt lady? Does Peter now have Molly's ability too? Or did Adam already know where she was?
I can understand why Peter is leery of trusting anyone with the company, especially since Adam "helped" him escape in his mind, but he's really not thinking this through. He's far too trusting and hopefully, he will reunite with Nathan and Nathan will snap some sense into him.
I'm still not sure why Adam would want to unleash the virus though. I get the killing the founders of the company. They locked him up and he wants revenge. But why kill everyone? Does he really believe he'd be saving the world (like Linderman and Mama Petrelli with the nuclear explosion?) - it's just odd.
I love Elle. She rocks.
Can West go away now? God, he's such a goob.
But I like that Claire stood up at the end and tried to take control of things. That's the Claire I like from first season, not the helpless woe-is-me version we've had lately.
Oh Sylar, calling his boyfriend Mohinder...poor Molly. What type of babysitter do Matt & Mohinder hire that just leaves the kid with two strangers on their word? And where is Matt?
It really saddens me that the show is finally getting back to really good and it's the finale. Le sigh.

I'm doing a holiday drabble-a-day throughout December, so go sign up in this post.
