HAPPY SUPERNATURAL PREMIERE DAY!!!

In honor of this wonderful day, I supply you guys with a gift, formerly known as my project 'o doom. It's a post Devil's Trap Choose Your Own Adventure story with a total of eight different outcomes.

Again, me and my brilliant ideas until I sit down to write it.

This story would be nothing without the help of [livejournal.com profile] ladybug218 for the grammar check and once over and [livejournal.com profile] iamtheenemy for the line-by-line, rip-it-apart edits. Seriously, if this story is any good, it's probably largely due to Steph's help, especially the beginning scene. Both of them also encouraged me and listened to me vent on a nearly daily basis for the length of writing this thing.

So yes...my gift to all you wonderful SPN fans!

Title: The Devil's Trap Choose Your Own Adventure
Author: Tommygirl/[livejournal.com profile] storydivagirl
Rated: PG-13
Spoilers: through first season, everything else is made up...
Summary: The Winchesters in the aftermath of Devil's Trap
A/N: This one is on my website as it was impossible to set up otherwise. Feedback is always appreciated though. Enjoy!

The first thing Sam became aware of was the sound of Steven Tyler’s voice crooning to him amidst the static of the radio.

I hope so anyway! But I think I've learned my lesson when I get one of those "wow" ideas from now on. It was harder than I expected. Hee.

Hey babe, just a thought. Instead of linking to your email at the end of every part, link back to this post (in mode=reply) so that people can comment easier.

Mare, you are awesome! That was fantastic. I haven't gone through all the possibilities yet, but great job! I know it must have been difficult, but thanks for doing this for us. :)

I used to get those Choose Your Own Adventure books from the library when I was young. This kinda made me feel like a kid again.

Thank you, dearie! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have to admit, had I known *how* difficult it would be before I was already writing it, I probably wouldn't have done it (i'm far too lazy, you see), but it was still fun to write. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the possibilities.

And yeah, I used to love those books too. I would go back and read every possibility and then pick out my favorite before I was done with it.

I think I had this in an open tab for ages and ages after you first posted it, but lost it in a computer crash. So, thank you for pointing me this way.

I was in the mood for happy today, so picked the less angsty option at each point, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm very impressed at all the work that went into writing this. You win, sweetie!

Thanks darling! I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yeah, somehow, I don't think I realized exactly what it would entail until I was about halfway into it, but it was a lot of fun to write and it makes me happy that others have fun with it too.
