I usually reserve all my political rantings and things I support for my regular journal along with all the mundane trivialities of my day, but I think this is important enough to be passed around on both sets of friends lists.

I think it's important that everyone (democrat, republican, etc) go take a look at this petition regarding the Assault Ban that expires soon. The petition is a good thing, so sign it and pass it on. Whether you're a Second Ammendment enthusiast or not, I think most rational people can agree that the forefathers did not have Uzies in mind when they wrote "the right to bear arms..."
