my poor little desktop...

My desktop computer was giving me the blue screen of death, even in safe mode, so I had to drop him off to the Geek Squad for fixing. I debated whether it was worth it - three hundred bucks for fixing it and then adding more ram (which I do need) - versus just buying a new computer. I can't really afford a new computer so I went with the three hundred bucks. More than I'd rather spend, but what can I do? I love my laptop, but I'm more disciplined with my writing when I use my desktop and sit in my office.

Geek squad has my computer for about a week, they said. A whole week. Fortunately, I do have my laptop because I'm a tad bit addicted to the internet.

I should have my Sports Night dvds tomorrow! I was hoping they would've come yesterday so i could enjoy all the extra stuff.

So really, with the dvds coming out, would more people be interested in SN Holiday Exchange? Maybe more than the seven that showed interest in the poll? And this is also brought to you by the fact that phoebesmum wrote me a wonderful Sports Night fic for the Live Long and Marry and now I want more fic.

My little bit is forcing me to watch the Hannah Montana concert with special guests Jonas Brothers. She is madly in love with Kevin and Nick. Joe is only "okay" and she feels like I need to know more about their personal lives. Hee. She's a future fangirl!

I'm a little worried about my desktop, too. Just upgraded to Service Pack 3 for XP and I keep expecting something to break... And having just stated that to the Universe at large, I hope I haven't just created a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I love my laptop, especially at night when I want to get in bed, but still play on the computer...but my desktop has my music and videos and the precious!

I've heard that the Service Pack has been causing some issues. Alas, my issue was all my own doing. I had a bad feeling about something and ignored it and next thing I know VIRUS. Ugh.

So far, I've been good with the Service Pack. But, yes, big ugh! I hope it gets fixed soonish, because no one should be without the precious.

*headdesk* Oh no... not you too! My step daughter will be 13 in just under two weeks, and dear God...she talks of nothing but the Jonas Brothers... in the same format you just mentioned. I think I can tell you their favorite colors and foods, their shoe sizes, what underwear they prefer, AND exactly how many hairs each of them has on his head.

And get this... she's WRITING about them. Yes...she has started writing RPF, and it's terrifying. Her father is going to have a fit if he ever reads it (I didn't have a choice...she MAKES me read), but I think that part is hilarious.

Oh, and did you ever notice that one of them looks like a young Neil Diamond?
