tommygirlGot out of work early. Have not done any writing. Did some laundry, read a bit, did a little beta work...now must write until dinner with the family.
In the meantime, I stumbled upon this Felicity-based quiz and couldn't resist. I'll do anything to aid my procrastination you see. I loved this show so much while it was on. I remember well the Benites and the Noelies. Oh, the fondness.
1. Who is your favorite character and why?
My favorite character? I guess it would be Felicity because I loved her character. I loved that smart and nice were considered good things. Even when she did those things (like reading Ben’s entrance essay) that made me embarrassed for her, I could still relate to that trying to figure out who you were, escape from under your parent’s expectations, etc.
2. Who do you like better -- Noel & Felicity or Ben & Felicity? Why?
As much as I adore Scott Foley, I liked him and Felicity as friends much better than anything else. Since day one, I was all about the idea of Ben and Felicity. While it might’ve been interesting to explore Noel and Felicity a little more than they did, I can’t say that I dislike the way Ben moved from being somewhat frightened of Felicity, to caring about her but not wanting commitment, to be jealous of the doctor guy, to where they ended up.
3. Which couple, aside from Felicity & her loves, did you really like together? why?
Sean and Megan ruled! Because they were so different and so bantery (is that even a word?) with one another and I loved it.
5. Which couple didn't you like together?
Any couple that involved Julie, especially Ben and Julie though. Ew. Bleh. I just hated Julie so much and I hated her “anger” at Felicity/Ben getting together when she had basically done the same thing to Felicity during freshmen year. And then that weird thing with Noel? Ew. So glad when Julie went away.
7. What is your favourite Felicity & Ben moment?
Just the one? Okay, I can get it down to two. In second season, when Ben finally wins Felicity back and he sets up the film on the roof of his building. I love that because he realizes that was when he lost her the first time. The other one was during the series finale, after Ben has rescued Felicity from the psych ward and she went to see the guy about time travel…and he tells her that she has to forgive him because he needs her in his life. Love it.
8. What is your favourite Felicity & Noel moment?
Oh, the whole sex dibacle during first year. When they start the fire while they’re trying to have sex. Hysterical.
9. Who is your favourite minor character? (ie, characters only on for a short time, like Dr.Pavone, Guy, Molly, James, etc.)
Does Sally count? Because she was never seen and she disappeared as the show went on…but I loved those letters she sent Felicity.
If not, cause Jen Garner is my straight girl crush, well, I liked her as Hannah.
10. Do you have a favourite quote from the show? Which one(s)?
Maybe getting over someone you’re in love with isn’t impossible. Unless, maybe you don’t actually get over it. Maybe you just learn to live with it. - Felicity
11. Do you have a least favourite episode? (ha) Which one(s)?
Didn’t care for the Twilight Zone Episode so much.
12. Do you have a favourite song that was featured on the show? (Either on the soundtrack or not) Which one(s)?
“Far Away” Chantal Kreviazuk
13. If you could step inside an episode and be Felicity and change things around a bit, what would you change and why?
Um, in that episode when she and Julie are stuck in the subway train after Julie wrote that song…I so would’ve laid the smackdown on that girl.
14. Would you have liked Sean to end up with Julie instead of Meghan? Why or why not?
My eyes…they’re bleeding from just reading that. God no!
15. What invention of Sean's did you think was the funniest?
The gross cereal with the milk already in it…I just loved him trying to force people to eat it all the time.
16. What happened on the show that shocked you the most?
The baby thing.
17. Do you think the show should've ended differently? How?
I didn’t mind the going back in time thing so much, but did they have to kill Elena? And then did they have to have her suddenly show up at the wedding even though she was dead?
18. Who do you think was the best ACTOR on the show? Why?
I love Scott Foley. Love that boy. He cracks me up.
20. (final sum-up question) Why do you love the show so much?
I like the whole idea of having these preconceived notions of the person you are and who you’ll become…only to have something make you realize that maybe your destiny lies elsewhere and that you just have to take that chance.
