There is not a banana or D battery to be found in all of South Jersey. We're okay for the batteries - just was hoping yesterday to get some extra - but who stole all the bananas? I've been to three different grocery stores and no bananas! I'm guessing it's because they don't require the refrigerator. Here's to hoping Irene isn't bad and no power goes out.

Mostly, I hope everyone in the way of the hurricane is safe! Now I must go finish with "hurricane preparedness"
