This is my response to the 55 Word Challenge. Let me tell ya, getting it down to 55 words was really hard for a verbose girl like myself.

Lounge Angel

Lex sat at the bar, staring at Clark, who was enduring some guy’s idea of witty repartee in the lounge. Clark met his gaze and Lex took that as his sign to rescue him from mundane facts and distasteful tales of woe.

Besides, Lex had other plans for their evening. No other people, clothes optional.

Glad you liked it! It was extremely hard! I'm so wordy and then to have to cut, cut, cut...and then it wouldn't make sense so I'd rewrite.
