It's done! My takethehouse fic is complete and in the hands of my trusty betas. Hopefully, it won't make them cry because of its terribleness. Hopefully, it meets the request and the person it's for will end up liking it. I tried a few of the other requests available to me, but for some reason this was the one that wanted to be written. It's weird because originally I thought I'd be ignoring that one. Nope. It's the one that got written.

So it's done. And since there is nothing on television I can go back to reading The Girls' Guide to Hunting and Fishing without any guilt over not finishing my story. Woo-hoo.

That leaves the I Miss Chris Ficathon piece to be written, but that's not due until Friday (I love being the person running it, thus enabling me to postpone the due date. heh.) That one shouldn't be too hard. Angsty!Chris muse tends to live in my head most of the time - he's always bugging me for more attention - and this just gives me the opportunity to do what he wants.

Okay, I'm off to do some reading and hoping that the betas don't hate the story. Wouldn't that suck?

well, thanks. So far, the one beta says it's good and that I got the voice down (always my big fear really)...so that's a good sign. Now I'm waiting on the other one.
